Jim Coleman Honda

One of the worst Honda dealer in Maryland. Be warned! We went to this dealership since they promised they will beat the price which we got from Anderson Honda. Worst decision ever, when we got there, we've met with Alex Chan and his manager George Bowie and they pulled a bad cop-good cop circus act in which they insisted the price we got was a price mistake. We walked out and the last offer was around $100 more than the price they promised that they are going to beat. The day we are to buy the car, I gave Alex Chan a call, since they are the closest honda dealership to us, I told them if we go there now we want to close the deal even though they are around $100 higher. He agreed but he acted stupid and made us feel like we owe something to him since he agreed. Finally we decided to purchase the car from Anderson Honda even though Alex Chan finally said if we come in, he is gonna match the price and no more games. We finally decided to go with Anderson Honda and transaction went smoothly. The lesson here is if you are looking for a car, please don't forget that yes you are buying a product but you are also buying their service which is the way the dealer treats you. \r I contacted Jim Coleman Honda via the internet a few weeks ago and had all my inital questions answered quickly. Apparently, they randomly assign customers to one of their specialists on the internet team, so I lucked out! Jackie Cheng was my salesperson and he was great. He was knowledgable, patient, and honest. The managers were okay and seemed a little more pushy than Jackie, but it was okay cause we mostly dealt with him. The overall atmosphere of the dealership was comfortable and my daughter happily entertained herself in the play area.\r \r We easily got to an agreeable price and I got the Honda I wanted. He was even great after the sale and made sure I understood all the fuctions and what I needed to know about the car. We felt bad cause we didn't get to the dealership until the evening, so we kept him after hours. Even though he was supposed to leave work at before we got there, he waited for us to arrive and stayed with us until 9PM to make sure everything was perfect. \r \r I highly recommend everyone to contact Jackie specifically for their Honda needs. I saw him again at the Customer Appreciation Night Dinner and Q&A Session (which was nice of the dealership) and he again made sure all my needs were taken care of.
