Awesome enormous vintage collection 10/3/2010

This place is great, I went today for the first time on a sunday when they have the one dollar sale outside. There are piles of clothing everywhere and everything's a dollar. I didnt find too much, a cute pink 80's sweatshirt and a silk scarf. Most of the clothing wasnt my size or it was stained or ripped, but mind you I came very late, around 3, i hear its best to go write in the morning cause thats when all the good stuff is there. I did find alot of womens polyester button up shirts though, which are great, but i already have so many that i refrained from getting more! more

Dolla, Make Me Wanna Holla 2/2/2010

Dollar Sale Sundays!! Yes. You read that right. On Sundays, their parking lot is piled hip high with clothing for only $1. You'll have to get down on your knees to sift through everything, but it will all be worth it when you find that one magical piece... FOR A DOLLAR! more

Best Thrift Store Finds in town!! 4/2/2009

I am now officially in love with this place! I found the cutest dress for only $25! My friend suggested going here for their big Sunday sale in their parking lot. Good luck finding street parking, we had to park in the residential neighborhood and walk, but when we got there...SO MANY PEOPLE! It was so much fun. I felt like it was a challenge trying to find something in all the piles of clothes. We went inside and found some amazing stuff that were still really reasonably priced! I am totally coming here again! Pros: Great Selection, Good Prices, Sunday Parking Lot Sale! Cons: tons of People more

Great place to buy cheap vintage 11/18/2008

Good Selection of vintage and the Sunday $1 sale is pretty good value for the buck. They have good inventory and constant new stuff......... Pros: Good Selection of vintage more

best ! 4/6/2008

I love this place . Oh man it is so great . Every sunday , everything in the parking lot $1 ! but you will have to dig through piles and piles of clothes. And you should definitely go very early to pick the best things . And be aware . A lot of people will just randomly choose things , put it in a container , and try them on , so be quick in looking through things . All i could find was a shirt when i went , but i got other things from inside . Outside is chaos , but inside is this huge treasure trove of things. Oh wow . My grama and mum were having some crazy flashbacks. Hahah ! A lot of great sun glasses , necklaces , button , pathces , vests , hats , dresses , shoes , etc. ! I highly recommend this store . And make sure you devote a lot of time to looking though things . You can NOT just spend a hour in here ! more

Love. Love-love. L-O-V-E. Love it! 3/6/2008

I am a hardcore ""thrifter"" and this is one is on my top-5 list when vintage hunting throughout the country on vacations. When walking in to the store, it is absolutely HUGE! You feel like you are walking into a prop department at a nearby Hollywood Studio, and the prices are pretty decent, in lieu of the endless selection. Pros: selection, prices, staff, location, organization Cons: except for parking, NOTHING! more

best dresses, great coats, dollar mayhem 10/9/2007

Simply ruling. Pros: great selection, good prices more

Great place for good old school thrift store gear - inexpensive 3/6/2007

I love this place because it is old school and you can get clothes for CHEAP. Lately alot of thrift stores are expensive since it is the new thing but this store keeps it cheap and nice. Great atmosphere and the $1 sale on the weekend is brilliant. Cons: Have to park on LaBrea more

Vintage Glam on the Cheap 2/9/2007

Like well-priced vintage clothing but don't want to pay Melrose Ave. prices? Then head to Jet Rag for a massive selection of items, most priced under $20. There are racks and racks of dresses from the 1950s-'80s, blazers, tons of shoes, dozens of men's Polo shirts, and pretty much anything else a thrift junkie would desire. Jet Rag has creative window displays and an organized, well-lighted interior space conducive to browsing. If you go on a Sunday, there are $1 sales where piles of clothes are dumped on to clothes in the parking lot and customers dig for cheap treasures. The store, however, does lack in terms of vintage accessories especially jewelry, hats, and gloves. Pros: Good Selection, Inexpensive, Organized Cons: Small Parking Lot more

great selection, not so great people... 9/9/2005

i was extremely impressed w/ the quality and selection of the clothing, prices were excellent, not exactly ""thrift store"" prices but still reasonable, I was totally turned off by the employees, one employee in particular... TIP: BE A BIT MORE NICE, AND MAYBE U'LL GET SUM OF UR CUSTOMERS BACK! Pros: quality, selection, inexpensive Cons: service more

Great selection 8/22/2005

This store has a big selection of vintage goods. The dresses are very affordable and cute, they have things that you can totally find on ebay for far less money. Their $1 sales are cool and fun. The one thing that I didn't like was the staff, they're extremely rude and that's something that I can't stand. Pros: selection Cons: bad customer service more

Excellent value, good selection 1/20/2004

The best reasons to go to this place are the selection of t-shirts (lots of cool older rock tees and random strange tees for places in the midwest and such) which usually run in the $8-$12 range. Also, the denim jackets are great as are the leather jackets, and all are reasonably priced. If you need to grab some cool clothes really quickly, head over here. The dress shirts aren't great but then again that's not my style. The western shirts are okay, but most of them are a little too much on the XL side. It's a great space inside, and I've never really noticed too much attitude on the staff. They don't really go out of their way to help you, but they're not jerks. More reasonably priced with a much more impressive selection than Aardvark's or Iguana (and Jetrag never plays the oldies stations, thankfully) Pros: inexpensive, very good selection Cons: not many more

Great stuff, but Service Sucks 5/2/2003

The clothing is fantastic. I bought two incredible dresses there over a few days at $16.00 a piece. How can you beat that? The stuff is a bit more variegated and not as sparse as Aaardvark's. I used to love Aaardvark's the most but now this place is my ""visit-every-other-week"" place, when I get a hankering for something cheap and fun. However, the service staff is definitely very, ""cooler-than-thou"" and I don't think there's any need for that! They are totally hip, but they make me feel I need to be all penitent like, ""Um, sorry to bother you being a cool, but can I get some help?"" Then they shoot you the begrudging, ""Well, I GUESS."" This one blonde girl who works there was TOTALLY nice and helpful but I haven't seen her since. Pros: Great Selection, Always Affordable Cons: Terrible Service, Crowded Parking more

GREAT BUYS!!! 1/30/2003

I had been planning a trip to LA and as i was packing i was watching the style network and i was watching the look for less and they recomended Jet Rag where they found many neat items! I got some of the most unique and stylish vintage clothing and it was inexpensive. Keep up the great work Jet Rag! more

Vintage treasure 11/8/2002

Jet rag is one of my favorite L.A. stores. They have a great selection at great prices. The $1 sale isn't that great, but everything else is. Parking can be hard with all the sign limitations and permit requirements, and their lot fits an SUV and bike, but parking is available...you just have to look. The people are more snooty than they are friendly, but youre not going there to make friends anyway. Pros: selection, prices Cons: parking, sales clerks more

One of My Favorite Places to Shop 8/17/2002

This is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes in LA. Girls and guys alike can find unique stuff. The selection is great (the store's two floors are full of well-filled clothing racks). The prices are reasonable--not dirt cheap, but certainly far from expensive. This is definitely not the place to shop if you're in a hurry, because no two items are alike in the store. Plus, the Sunday sales are awesome. The only downside I'd have to say about this place is that so many people have heard about the great Sunday sales that they come in droves for the deals, which sometimes makes it hard to find the best stuff if you don't come early. (One time I even saw a lady throw her body on top of a pile of clothes just so that other people couldn't get to it!) Pros: Reasonable Prices, Great Sales, Huge Selection Cons: Limited Parking, Mean Meter Maids more

Eclectic 7/1/2002

This store has a large selection of retro and up-to-date clothes and at reasonable prices. Sometimes items can be dirt-cheap. Come by on Sunday, and purchase items for $1. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Limited parking more

Great Prices Great Selection 6/12/2002

The have an enourmous selection and the prices are really goo-most vintage is now unaffordable-not this place-watch out for the sales staff-too much attitude more

Love the clothes 5/20/2002

This place has some of the most amazing stuff. Every time I've gone, i have found at least 2 great buys. The store is always clean and picked up, which is a plus for a used clothing store. It is the worst when you have to dig through a pile of clothes on the floor. i highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't done so already. Pros: clean, organized, good selection more
