When I moved to a new place, I used the moving service of this local New Jersey Best Movers - 866-386-4410, and it was my first experience moving my furniture with a local mover so I didn't know what to expect. I had heard from some of my friends how many movers are kind and courteous till they take your money and then the work is outsourced to some other company. Well but I had to move so I called the first company that I saw online with a decent number of positive reviews and that was this New Jersey Moving company ? New Jersey Best Movers - 866-386-4410 . When I called their Customer Service office they were very friendly and their office manager nice and friendly young lady gave me a price quote that was very accurate. I wasn?t charged extra for anything except $75 for packaging some of my stuff I decided to add. The driver and the movers were at my house on time and my stuff was delivered with no damages and on time. I would be happy to recommend this company - New Jersey Best Movers - 866-386-4410 to my friends and to anyone planning on moving soon. They packed and wrapped everything with care and the entire move happened to be just a stress-free moving experience! This Company (Jersey City Best MOVERS) was recommended to me by one of my friends who had hired them previously in 2009 and was very satisfied. I have to say that they made my move very easy and stress free. The sales department worked with me and provided me with a price quote which they honored at time of payment and did not try to inflate like I have heard other Manhattan moving companies try to do. I also needed to change the date of my move twice and the staff at their customer service department was very helpful as well as accomodating. The crew arrived early and got right to work. They were fast, efficient, professional and friendly. All of my belongings arrived without damage and the crew place my furniture and cleaned up all of the debris. I was hired by a new company & they asked me to relocate ASAP! I was very excited about the new opportunity i have gotten but was worry about the relocation process. I used a few moving companies in the past & had a bad experience! I called my friend who was hired by the same company a few month ago & had the same problem with moving companies in the past.... He told me not to think twice & call Peace Movers Inc. He said that it is the best Movers he have used. I called Peace Movers Inc. & managed to get a quote in a few minutes The quote was a bit higher then what i hope it would be. BUT LET ME TELL YOU THAT THE SERVICES THIS COMPANY PROVIDE IS 2ND TO NOON!!! It was a flat rate Moving Cost that did not bumped up like many other companies do once they pick up the shipment. The crew was AMAZING & THE DELIVERY WAS ON TIME WITH NO DAMAGE OR MISSING ITEM! I will use this company again & you should use them also!!! Thank you so much Peace Movers. This company burns another person again! They gave me a initial quote I readjusted some of the information and they sent another bid over confirming that they would move me, so I canceled with the other company I had line up because of there star rating. When I called to reconfirm the time and date the day before the move, there phone was disconnected in a matter of two days. So I had to scramble to find a real mover and pay a last min. fee with a different company. Please do not get roped into there scam. They should not be allowed to advertise on the web or city search and city search should really update there star rating system. IF you use this company you will have a nightmare on your hands. They are by far the worst movers I have ever had to deal with. They have picked my things up and NOT delivered them on a number of agreed upon dates. At this point, I'm not sure if they have stolen my things. They will not answer their phones. I am definitely going to report them to the local authorities. DO NOT USE PEACE MOVERS! Do no trust these guys. They were supposed to move me this weekend. They did not return calls for several days. I had to call U-Haul and rent a truck to move myself. If they cannot or will not answer their phone or return calls do you want your move in their hands? Pros: low cost Cons: cannot answer their phone, return calls. more

This was a terrible company. 10 hours late picking up furniture. took 6 hours for three people to move a small 1 bedroom apt. brought a friend who did nothing. Told me they were expecting a nice tip. Ordered dinner with my phone. 4 days late getting to my new home. On the way to my new home, the drivers got into a fight and took the truck back to NJ. Delivered my stuff at 6:00 in the morning but left several pieces in NJ. more

The movers stole some of my personal items, they truck was late picking up and delivering my items, and they crew left a lot of garbage around my property. Overall a bad experience...choose someone else if you value your items! Pros: Cheap Cons: SHoddy Work more

And believe me I mean that as a compliment... I've moved numerous times over the years, and I've always had some sort of experieince worth complaining about - not to say they were all terrible, but things never seemed to be simple.. The crew did the best job they could despite being sent out late (arrived 9 am for a 6:30 start time - they weren't dispatched until 6:45 am so stories of traffic only go so far!). They ran out of packing blankets so they improvised with PAPER and the trip on the (dirty) truck scratched several pieces of furniture. The sales person Orel's attitiude is ""It could have been worse and you've filed your claim so your experience is okay.""
