Jerry Bush Auto Repair

My friends Mazda 6 was having a clutch problem where it would not engage into gears right away while travelin' down the road. We knew it would probably need a new clutch, but needed to have it looked at. Took it to Mazda first where they charged us $110 to ""DIAGNOSE"" the problem. It took 7 hours with our car to do that. They also said the starter was bad and needed to be replaced. New Clutch, Starter, rear main seal, labor and parts from Mazda?...$2,680!...I was recommended by a friend to call Jerry’s...explained the problem over the phone and he told me to ""bring it in in the morning and will have an estimate within an hour...no diagnostic charge"". He found the same problems Mazda found, to be sure, but laughed when I told him of the estimate from them. He had the car completely finished within 24 hours and the car is smooth as silk now. Total charge from TIM'S?...$1190!!!...And GUARANTEED the work. I think saving me $1490 is well worth my time to take to write this...I would tr more

Amazingly honest. Highly recommended. Not only did, they not sell me a transmission I did not need. He even drove my car 2 miles down the road to another auto mechanic when he determined the transmission did not need to be replaced. I was stunned when he told me the transmission was fine- another repair shop suggested the transmission needed to be replaced. BUT I was speechless when he offered to drive it to another repair shop for a tune-up (he only works on transmissions). He didn't charge us a dime. I would have readily believed the transmission needed to be replaced. I am still amazed that he did not take advantage of me, a woman with 3 kids who clearly does not know much about cars. more

I recently brought my car in, and I was very impressed with the service. After shopping around for tires, I stopped in here, and they gave me an excellent deal! They were much cheaper than a couple other places I went to. The men at the counter were so helpful and friendly. I don't ever enjoy having to spend money on my vehicle, but they made the experience as pleasant as possible. I have already recommended them to several people I know. I will be visiting them in 6000 miles for my free tire rotation! more

This is a great place near my work. They always give me free courtesy rides to and from Shands which makes it super convenient! The manager, is very friendly and nice. They seem to care about me as a valued CUSTOMER and I love that! The service writer is friendly and knowledgeable too. I will continue taking my car to them. more

If you have ever found yourself looking for a great auto mechanic that does not rip you off, this is the place. I have had all my car problems fixed by these guys since I lived in Gainesville. I choose them, because every time I shop around for a car fix, I end up here. Their price has yet to come near the outrageous amounts other major repair shops charge. They are friendly and always find time for you even when they are busy. Give them a call if you need something repaired. You might be surprised how little they charge. more
