How do you know when you have a good haircut? When someone pays you a compliment. Not because they saw the ""before"" and like the ""after"". Just because they look at your head and think ""Wow, what a nice cut"". Though it might sound strange - I've actually had this happen to me MANY times! Each time people say ""You always have a nice haircut, I want to go where you go. Who cuts your hair??"" For me - this is the ultimate compliment because I don't have naturally beautiful hair. My hair is naturally annoying. Which means these compliments don't go to me - they are all because of Jerel 119. I've been going to Sheilah and Amanda for the past 10 years. Obvious from the compliments - they both do an amazing job. I've even brought my out of town friends and family to see them. Everyone I bring or send loves this salon, the unpretentious feel, the relaxing atmosphere, and the impeccable service. I?ve never had a cut or color that I haven?t liked. Everyone in this salon (including the assistants and the receptionists) is friendly. Even Jerel himself is never too busy to be welcoming. (not like many salons where the owner has their own clients, and ignores the rest) \r
Sure there are many salons that are more conveniently located to my house or work, but would I change? Never. My hair/face is the first thing everyone sees ? which means my monthly visit to Jerel 119 is worth every minute! Thanks Amanda and Sheilah!!\r
Pros: Fabulous cuts & color. Unintimidating atmosphere.
Cons: I don't live next door??
