Jennings Plumbing Services

After all the great online reviews, as well as one from our neighbor across the alley, I called Jennings and made an appt for the following Fri 1/10 @ 10 - 10:30 am. As I drove from our current home in Denton, to the Carrollton house to meet the Jennings master plumber, I called to confirm the appt timing. (Having asked them to call and give me 30 mins warning, I still hadn't heard by 10.) they apologized and rescheduled for the following Monday at 10, and once again, I askd th to give me about a 30 min heads up so I could get there from Denton. Once again they failed to call, but they did show up about 10:30. He went through the place professionally, so I still had pretty high hopes because I certainly undertake glitches in schedules and with phone communications. He told me he'd email me a bid "in two or three days." Four days later (Thursday) I called to see if he was going to send the bid soon, and he said he'd write it up the next day and send it. We're ready (finally) to get the work in three areas going, so want to get three quotes and go! Sadly, now 10 days later, we still don't even have a bid. They never called back, nor wrote. I even wrote them an email through their web site saying that if my business was important to them I'd hear back in 24 hours. Well, I get their message loud and clear ... It's not. I've gone to this length to make sure everyone reading these reviews has a truly balanced view of companies. I've called two more area plumbers who are scheduled for tomorrow 1/23, and I WILL write reviews about them so that others looking for fair, honest and professional plumbers can get more info. I have found that i did not use the correct email address. I apologize for any issues this may have caused you. It was not my intention to have such a delay in you receiving the proper attention. We called around and even had pictures to text plumbers and the Jennings Team all were responsive, honest, and charged less than the "ball-park" of what it looked like it would be. Some of the other plumbers I called were twice the price if they even called back. For our house and for interested Plano neighbors, we have found our plumbing company going forward! more

After living in our house for 6+ months we finally decided to get our sink fixed. We were only able to use half of the sink because the other half had a leak. We called and the next day they came out. They put in a new faucet we had and fixed the leak which required replacing a lot of the parts. The next day we noticed the faucet water pressure was acting weird. They came out right away and fixed that as well. Great company and very efficient. Price was very reasonable, and we will definitely be using them for future problems. more

Mr Jennings worked so well with me. I live out of state and I have a home in Carrollton. Mr Jennings had done work for me previously when I lived in Carrollton. When my water pipe burst, he fixed the pipe in a timely manner. Due to the large amount of work the bill was very expensive. Mr Jennings agreed to give me time to pay this bill. There is very few small business people who would give credit - especially to someone who lives out of state. I wish that I didn't need them so often, but hey are great. Always on time, polite, ready to answer all questions and they clean up after themselves. They are very competitve on pricing as well. I was very pleased with the inspection and work done by Jennings Plumbing the week of June 14, 2012. They were inspecting for any leaks. When some were found, it required more testing which they did in a timely manner. Their explanations about the leaks and how they could be fixed were easy to understand. I found their reports about the needed work to be very thorough. My experience with the cost of this testing is that it was comparable to other plumbing companies and I felt confident in their findings and their ability to do the job correctly. more

I rarely submit reviews, but I have frequently had hits or misses when dealing with various contractors, even after checking BBB. So, when I find a gem, I'd like to share it with other people. I recently had a leak in my gas line, and I was charged with finding a reputable company to fix the leak. I checked the BBB site and found three companies. The first two companies I called made me miserable, and I started crying over my problem. The fix would break my budget, so I couldn't see a way to do it. My son was coming home from the hospital, so I had to have the work done, fast! I grudgingly called Jennings Plumbing, pretty much expecting the same thing. I was put through to the owner, Shawn, who managed to calm me down and explain things in a way that made a lot of sense to me. In short, I felt I could trust him, so I agreed to have the lesser of three evils do the repair. Not only was their quote way under the others, but the workers were very friendly and professional. I am so impressed by what they did that I felt compelled to let others know. Yes, there is hope out there, and there are people out there who care. Thank you, Shawn and company, because you just helped repair my bad start to the new year and restored my faith in people. Good deeds will always be rewarded! more

Came out the same day I called. The plumbers (Chris & Jason) were courteous, efficient and very professional. They did the water heater swap out in a couple hours. When done cleaned up before they left. Jennings Plumbing will take care of all my plumbing needs from now on... more

I am a general contractor and while working on a job we hit a water line. I called them and they were able to send someone out that afternoon. We were able to get the water shut off and the line repaired that afternoon. more
