Jefferson Ave. Veterinary Clinic 10/11/2011

We have been taking our pets to the Jefferson vet clinic for 10 years. Both vets are absolutely the best. They are practical, responsive to our requests for information about treatment options, and excellent with our two cats. We are confident that Chloe and Emile receive the best care possible. Although our cats are never thrilled to see the red cat carrier come out of the closet -- it means that it is time for their annual physical - they enjoy the attention they receive from Dr. Alice and purr loudly during their visit. I highly recommend these competent, caring vets. more

I've (Ziggy l'orange, Ziggy Noir, Zoey and Lulu) had the care and attention of Drs Tim and Alice for nearly 20 years. YOU live longer with happy, healthy pets. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else. more

Jefferson vet clinic 7/22/2008

It is nice to be treated well. The staff are friendly and the docs are kind and realistic. There are some treatments I wouldn't want my family members to have and would certainly not put a companion animal through. These vets are aware and don't push just to make a buck. Alice was also very kind to my, less than lovable Ditty dog and I always appreciated that. more

Horrible! 1/15/2007

More than bad is the only thing that comes to mind. I paid an outragious fee for three days of an I V to hydrate my puppy Junior. I paid hundreds and when I was a little short I was not allowed to make payments on only the last hundred and I was refused my sick puppy. This was not told to me before I admitted him. I was told that my puppy would be held there and charged daily fees until I could pay for him to get out. It was like puppy prison. When I asked for the ability to make payments in a short time the vet walked into the back and left me waiting for an answer while the vet slipped out the back door. After I got him out I didn't get all the medicine I paid for. Now my puppy is sick with roundworms and v0miting bl00d. My calls have NEVER been answered for the past 6 months and I can't afford to take him another place and pay for an office visit again just to get medicine I already paid for. It is not caring when the only thing cared about is getting more money and not the well being of a puppy. Now I have to take this place to Court just to get the medicine I already paid for. Jefferson Veterinary Center is fantastic 7/31/2006

Dr. Alice and Dr. Tim are the best vets anyone could ask for. They care deeply for all of their clients - animal and human. The staff at JVC is awesome as well, remembering everyone's names and greeting all like they are family members. You would be hard pressed to find a better veterinary practice anywhere! Pros: Friendly staff, clean facility, easy location to find more

The absolute best for your pets 6/7/2006

The very best veterinarian clinic you could ask for. The staff is phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable people who genuinely love animals. I first went there because I was so impressed by their decision to take a risk and build a fantastic building in a blighted area of the city. Now I can't imagine going anywhere else. My dog is terrified of new and unfamiliar situations, but they are so wonderful to him. I can't say enough about our vet. more

I was very impressed and pleased with the way they handled and cared about my pet. It was really great to go to a vet who actually cares and isnt afraid of the animal. I went to one vet who would barely get near my dog!!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS VET more
