Please stay far away from this family owned business. They do not care about their customers. Debbie and her father are a complete nightmare to deal with. And after you have the pool installed, that is who you deal with. They are rude and once they have your money, they don't care what happens afterwards. Word of warning, Debbie's father acted like he was going to pull a gun on my family today. They went in there after being completely ignored for one year after pool put in. My dad stated that it seemed he was getting an attitude and the old man said ""I'll show you an attitude and reached down acting like he was getting a gun. He is rude and crazy.....stay away from this business. This is who and what you have to deal with. We will get a lawyer, especially after what happened today. Not professional at all. These are the most crooked business people I have ever dealt with. I bought a part for my pump from them. It was the wrong part so they ordered a new one. They told me they would just exchange it when the new part came in. When I went to pick up the part I had to pay again. They would not take the wrong part back. I explained that the old man there said I could. She informed me she was the owner and it didn't matter what I was told. Do not do business with these people. more

Oh, darn! I wish I had seen this before I hired them. I had to let them go today for 3 pools. I asked locals and search before I hired, but did not see these reviews prior. :/ more

My wife and I thought we were hiring a professional to have some pool work done. INSTEAD, we got Jeff Self Pools and Spas. We needed a new pool liner and coping. We did get a new pool liner, but it was the wrong size. Instead of getting a professional installation of coping for our pool, Jeff cut of the old coping, thus breaking our liner track. He then put Quick-crete, YES, Quick-crete around our pool and called it coping. From day one, his,"coping" has cracked, fallen off, and we have scilicone in the liner track they broke, attempting to hold the liner in place. Its NOT working. Jeff came to our house about 7 or 8 times trying to repair his quick-crete job. All he did was slap more quick-crete on and left. His last visit to "FIX" the job he said he has gone above and beyond the contract, which stated 3 visits to my house. If the job was done right the first time, sure. But instead, My wife and I now need a new pool liner, liner track, coping, AND have to pay for labor all over again. We paid Jeff Self Pools and Spas almost 4,500 and its going to cost us 8,000 to repair what this company has done to our pool. He refuses to do anything about this, infact, they wont even return our calls. 7 on your side tried to help by contacting Jeff, and Jeffs attorney, Shawn Keys. We needed a new filter for our pool, so they had us sign a contract for $700 to install one. They were very nice until we disagreed with them. Jeff came and installed it, but it couldn't be turned on before he left due to the water level. 30 minutes later, I tried to get it started and water would not filter through it and then all the sudden, water exploded in my face and all over me.Still no water filtering. I called and told them, and he said he would come back out. He did, and said he had figured it out on the way out to my house, and he just needed to flip a switch. He did, and he left. A couple of days later, I got a bill for another $95. 85 for service call and 10 for gas. I called and complained, that it was 30 minutes after they had installed, and they were supposed to make sure it was working. They said it had nothing to do with what they had done, but agreed to take the 95 off. A month later, they charged my debit card another 95 plus a late fee of like $40 or 45 because I failed to pay my bill!!!! I called them and told them they had agreed to take it off a month ago, and that is why we didn't pay it. She( the owner) agreed to take some of it off but not all. I had a problem with that, and felt like the intire 95 should be removed. She became hostile and said we were wanting something for nothing! and hung up on me. I called her back and asked her to please not hang up on me, and she did it again. My husband then called her, and he got the same treatment. He told her he would call the Better Business Bureau and she said go ahead, you arn't the first mean person that has tried to put us out of business!! and then she hung up on him too. Very unprofessional. I might add we were both calm and professional when we talked to her and SHE did not.Do not use this company, and if you make the mistake of using them, for heaven sakes, do not give them a credit card number or debit or anything. They will just use it, with out even informing you. We didn't even know the additional 95 had been billed until we got our bank statement. more

We had Jeff look at our pool floor, he agreed to repair one spot in pool floor. To do the work, he required a credit card. DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!!! Cons: DECEPTIVE PRACTICES more
