Jeff Daulton-Ac Systems

I waited for another company to come out for 1.5 weeks before they called and said it would be at least another week! I called Jeff Daulton, and they sent a tech out the next morning! The system is working better than when it was installed 3 years ago. I have had at least 10 service calls on our Sanyo system, and it never kept the office below 80, more like in the 90s! Kevin got this system so that it now is perfect here. They come when they say the would, and do what needs to be done! more

This Chapel Hill-based company is small--Jeff and a tech or two. His wife answers the phone. I've been using them since 2006, but got a referral from my best friend who's been using them for many years at both her home and her business. First of all, they are entirely and completely way more than competent. They know what they're doing and also recommend cost-saving measures. I'm particularly happy w/the gas furnace that Jeff installed in '06. He'll definitely be the one to do the replacement for my second one--both involve changing from electric heat pump to gas furnace. Also, they do my yearly inspection, quickly, cleanly and respectfully. I can't believe that the first review here refers to this company. Perhaps it's another AC company because a lot of the names seem similar when you look them up in the phone book or online. This company also does a lot of commercial work, fyi. So sometimes they're busy but definitely worth the wait. As in the second review, Jeff came to MY house on a Sunday to repair something. That's definitely service, in this day and time! more

The technician was competent but submitted comments to my landlord that insulted my intelect and character. The technician wrote to the landlord that I had a stupid look on my face and suggested to the landord that I had not been changing the air-filters, which was untrue. The person never looked at the filters, making his comments pure speculation. Considering I was polite, respectful, and cooperative, I consider this behavior unprofessional and unworthy of any future business relationship. In the future I will not use his service and recommend that others find alternative A/C and heating services in the Chapel Hill/Durham NC area. more

I had an emergency with my heating and air conditioning system on a Sunday. Jeff not only came right out-he had the parts on his truck and got everything repaired in no time flat.
