I was in jdm when IL girl brought her car in, she refused to pay for diagnosis on her car and insisted that they replace the starter. Maybe if she paid their techs to propery diagnose her problem she would not have had the second no start. They have always been great to me in explaining what is wrong with my car and I pay for their diagnosis. I have tried several other places and always feel the most comfortable when JDM works on my car Pros: They do ""fix it right the first time"" more

My car would not start, so I towed it to JDM and told them that I thought it was the starter. They replaced the starter and I picked the car up. 3 days later (to my surprise) my car would not start. Same ticking noise same thing that I thought JDM told me they fixed. I paid yet again to tow my car to JDM and at that time they inform me that it is a cable that is bad (not the starter that I already paid them to replace). When I asked the supervisor why they replaced the starter the only reason they could provide is that I told them to replace the starter, and that is why they replaced it (not because they checked the starter and the starter was bad). I must be stupid because I thought that when you bring your car into a shop the shops job is to figure out why the car is not working. $700 later my car is fixed, with a part that I could have bought at the store for $20. I fell that I was taken advantage of and I hope that anyone that reads this review will listen and not allow JDM to take advantage of you. Pros: Car is finaly fixed. Cons: Paid for parts not needed and two $100 towing charges because it was not fixed the first time. more
