JASMINE HAS BEEN DOING MY HAIR FOR MANY YEARS, I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU ALL OF THE COMPLIMENTS I HAVE GOTTEN ON MY HAIR. Jasmine is a wizard when it comes to hair! She's hands down the best stylist I've ever been to (and I've tried my fair share). My hair is my pride and joy so I'm very cautious with whom I entrust it to. Whether you require a specific cut, color and style or you're in need of guidance, Jazyhair's the place to go. Not only is she an expert with all things hair related, she's also the friendliest. She will go out of her way to accomodate her clients during the day, at night, over the weekend or in my case, before dawn on a Sunday morning. If you're looking for the best, Jasmine's it. She's always goes above and beyond and is well worth the 50 mile drive I make to see her. more

Straight , healthy hair 12/1/2006

If you have curly , unruly or frizzy hair ( I HAD all of the above!) Jasmine is the very best. You will get a comprehensive analysis of your hair prior to the straightening. I've just had my hair straightened for the second time by Jasmine, the results are so amazing...it changes your daily routine. I spend way less time on my hair and more time on having fun. She is the very best! Pros: Easy parking, coffee and snacks downstairs, very kind and caring service more

Looking for a good stylist 11/15/2006

I went to Jazy hair after reading the reviews on Citysearch and speaking with Jasmine the stylist. This was my first visit and I tried to communicate what my needs and expectations were. My experience at the salon had both positives & negatives which is why I couldn't go higher then a 7.5 in my rating. Positive Aspects: Some positive aspects are that Jasmine is very nice, she takes clients on both Saturday & Sunday. In my personal experience her technical skills in coloring and haircuts (especially curly hair) are good. At this point I would be giving her an 8 or 9 on the scale...BUT there were a few things that lowered the score for me. Negative Aspects: The place is not cheap, nor is there any type of first time discount. A good hairstylist has to develop good listening skills as well as good technical skills. Somewhere in our conversation there was a communication breakdown.In this case I walked out of the salon disapointed with my hairstyle which was extremely curly and fuzzy and opposite of anything I normally wear. I should also mention this salon is kind of far for me so based on my first experience I can recommend the place but I'm not sure I'll be going back myself. Charming, patient, talented - what more coud you ask for? 10/20/2006

I had my hair cut and permed by Jasmine almost six months ago and it looks better than ever! I've recently moved to Las Vegas and am considering making an appointment with Jasmine to touch up my hair on my next trip to LA. The girls at the office here voted my hair as ""Best Hair"" in the office thanks to Jasmine's expertise. She herself has the most beautiful naturally curly hair. When I was living in Japan I was used to having my hair done at one of the best salons in Tokyo. I came back here, and I had no clue where to go. While I was hesitating my hair went damaged, dry and brassy - just in a really bad shape. After trying one salon that looked good from the outside (but yielded a disappointing result), I decided to do some research - and found Jazyhair. She promptly called back, asked what I wanted, and made an appointment for me. That was 4 years ago and I have my next, every-2-months appointment next month. She is very pleasant, very professional & talented (and so young, too!). If something you want will not work, she will tell you so, and she would be right. If you have just a vague idea, she will fill in and make it complete, and make it happen. She is very accommodating - late appointments and weekends. Make your appointment now before it fills up! As accommodating (and so very nice) as she is, Jasmine is only one person, and getting more popular - no attitude from this girl, though. I have not had a "bad hair day" since I stared to go to Jasmine. Why would I go elsewhere? Pros: Just a great sytlist, and such a nice person. Cons: Hope she opens her own salon soon - she desearves it. more

I really appreciate Jasmine because she listens to you. I explain the color, cut and style that I would like performed and she always makes it happen. I have also found if I did not know what I wanted to do with my hair, she was full of suggestions. I always walk out of the salon feeling great! more
