Review content:
I went to Jazy hair after reading the reviews on Citysearch and speaking with Jasmine the stylist. This was my first visit and I tried to communicate what my needs and expectations were. My experience at the salon had both positives & negatives which is why I couldn't go higher then a 7.5 in my rating.
Positive Aspects:
Some positive aspects are that Jasmine is very nice, she takes clients on both Saturday & Sunday. In my personal experience her technical skills in coloring and haircuts (especially curly hair) are good. At this point I would be giving her an 8 or 9 on the scale...BUT there were a few things that lowered the score for me.
Negative Aspects:
The place is not cheap, nor is there any type of first time discount.
A good hairstylist has to develop good listening skills as well as good technical skills. Somewhere in our conversation there was a communication breakdown.In this case I walked out of the salon disapointed with my hairstyle which was extremely curly and fuzzy and opposite of anything I normally wear.
I should also mention this salon is kind of far for me so based on my first experience I can recommend the place but I'm not sure I'll be going back myself.
