I had never heard of a wiener burger before... I was not sure about ordering one at first, but the friendly staff at the Dog House Diner said it was great and it was! It is a burger that fits into a hot dog bun. The bun is lightly toasted with butter and the burger has a great sear on it and really juicy.
The hot dogs are great at the dog house too. My favorite is the chicago dog and the chicken apple sausage. The dog house seems to make a lot of things from scratch, and they had their homemade coleslaw from chino farms in rancho santa fe that I thought was cool of them.
I have not had breakfast there yet but they seem to have a good selection of breakfast burritos and sandwiches along with really good quality coffee.
