We went to Jardos last year after losing our beloved Shepherd Harley to Cancer. We had visited several breeders in NJ and decided to go with Jardo. We have had Gus for over a year...

I purchased a shepherd from this establishment 8 years ago. As in the previous review, I was sold a long haired shepherd, whom I was told was perfectly fine. What a lie! My dog has suffered like no animal should, with skin and digestive issues. Again, as in the previous review, he is a sweet and wonderful dog. However, he suffers miserably.DO NOT PURCHASE OR BOARD YOUR ANIMAL HERE! more

We went to Jardos last year after losing our beloved Shepherd Harley to Cancer. We had visited several breeders in NJ and decided to go with Jardo. We have had Gus for over a year now and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. Great with kids and adults alike. He is a happy and healthy dog, and any questions we have had Debbie and Ted are always there to answer them. more

Don't go here if you want good service... 8/5/2005

First off, they wouldn't let me see the actual 'cages' where they keep the dogs. I had to look at them from a distance (from the front yard). That should have been my first clue not to go here. Next, when I picked up my dog, she had clearly lost a lot of weight (she was there for a week) and her back leg was puffy as if it were infected. After we brought her to the vet, we find out she had a puncture in her leg that had to be drained because it was infected. How could the kennel not notice this and just hand our dog back to us as if nothing had happened? They think her leg got punctured on the fence in the dog run area. They did re-imburse us our money for vet bills, but didn't give us a dime back for the boarding. I say avoid this place at all costs!!! more
