Best

Amazing food and good service makes this one of my favorite restaurants. I have been going there since they opened and frequent them regularly.

everywhere i look, there seems to be an asian or sushi restaurant in every plaza. sometimes i wonder if all the chefs in all those places know what they are making or know the safe food handling of raw fish. when i think of sushi, i think raw, fresh, healthy, but thats not always a guarantee with certain places. Japango is the one place i can actually say that they know what they are doing, whether its the food, and servicing customers. yes i don't get the great service that i usually get all the time when they are very busy but time and time again, they don't disappoint. I know that they are in a rapid expansion phase, which is good for them but at the same time real wish they don't change too much. must have is the crispy rice, to die for and the tuns pizza as well more

i goto japango once a week and twice once in a while. i have not been disappointed yet, yes there have been times where they are so busy that i dont get the good service that i usually get but thats okay, by far the best sushi and the selection and taste is second to none. you can tell that the management is on top of things because, its consistent everytime and not many places you can say that about, especially japanese restaurants. i could go on and on but the best way to know is to try for yourself more

I was there last night. Boy o Boy is all I can say. It was my first time their and the nice thai girl brought over a specialty dish, "on the house" from the chef. It was excellent. The salmon was smooth and buttery. The calamari tasted like patches of goodness! My 87 year old mother destroyed her fried rice. I had a candied apple martini which had homeade candy around the glass and tasted delicious going down. The bluefin toro was by far the freshest I have ever seen. My server was smokin hot! more

My title says it all ... the food was excellent ... probably the best Sushi and Sashimi I've ever had. I was there with a non-Sushi or seafood lover, and they were able to get a variety of other entrees on the menu. Everything from a good Steak, to Thai, to Chinese. Would definitely go thee again!!! more

I ate at Japango a while back and ordered the chef choice and was pretty upset because out if all the courses that was made by the chef I would say 90% of what me and my date received was tuna. Don't know if that's all he had but after the bill was close to 200.00 dollars I was pretty ticked off because I thought that with how the rest of the menu read the chef would be a little more creative on his selection. Tries a little to hard to do fusion. I'm a big sushi eater and with the price being pretty high I would think there would be more a WOW factor. The menu looked good but what I received was not worth what I paid. Cmon 90% tuna for each course for chef choice for 2bills. Anyway hope they have revolved into what there menu preaches.. more

for the best experience at Japango, have KEVIN make his special course dinner and you will be suprisingly impressed more

While the lightly steamed veggies are as fresh as the seafood, I found myself underwhelmed. Items failed to meet the anticipation generated by their menu descriptions. Vegetable accompaniments were sliced too large to be picked up by chopsticks and too crisp to be cut by just a fork (pet peeve). All this would have probably gone unnoticed if the menu were more competitively priced or execution was better than similar restaurants (Rise on SW 18th.) Not entirely off my list-- will give them another try sometime. more

Awesome staff, with very good food all around.\r Hang a hard right when you walk in the door and check out the "Lounge" area. Cool bar, and the same great food, and service. more
