This restaurant exceeded our already high expectations for flavor, quantity and quality. I was the only non-asian in the restaurant, which was clearly packed with locals despite horrible weather outside. The use of real charcoal was surprising but gave the BBQ extra flavor (we had marinated short ribs and shrimp). Pros: Authentic charcoal grills Cons: Smoke from authentic charcoal grills more

Very good Kalbi 7/24/2006

I have been to this place several times now and I was happy every time. The Kalbi is very good (they use real charcoal) but the soups are also very good. Pros: Great food parking across the street Cons: They don't take Amex. more

Quick Service 8/29/2005

I really like the fact that this place has pretty quick service, even with a group of 13 people. I found the soups and broths pretty good and they give a fair amount of side dishes. This is not exotic cuisine, but traditional food. If you are expecting Korean fusion, go to Manhattan. This is down to earth Korean food and reasonable Queens' prices. Pros: inexpensive, location Cons: plain decor more
