I called James Knight for what I thought would be a simple fix on an industrial size ice maker at our church. The serviceman (who's last name was Knight) was there for one hour (I was watching the clock very carefully). At least 15 min. of that time he spent outside on the phone and another 15 minutes he spent sitting on the floor in front of the machine watching it make ice. He spent 5 min replacing a small sensor ($30 from the manufacturer but they charged $80) and another 5 min sqirting a tablespoon of cleaner in it and running a rinse cycle ($10 for a quart size bottle but they charged $32 for a tablespoon) His remaining 20 min was actually spent working (cleaning the filter and removing and reinstalling covers) I received a bill a few days later for $300.00 !!! I called to plead my case for what I knew was over-inflated pricing and was dealt with very rudely. So, you judge for yourself if you think a service like that is worth it. As for me and my friends, we simply can't afford to do business like that.
