Great! 6/5/2009

The food here is really good. The servers are nice, but they're busy. James Joyce has a very nice authentic Irish vibe. The location is also great. Pros: food, atmosphere, location Cons: parking more

Great place to watch a game. 8/22/2008

We went with our kids because they had the Orioles/Red Sox game on. It was one of the best meals we had in Baltimore. The staff was great, very attentive. My husband had the corned beef/cabbage dinner. He said it was the best he has ever had. (That is saying a lot!!) Great Salad for me and fish and chips for the kids!! Highly recommend this very relaxing and friendly restaurant. Pros: Great corned beef and cabbage. Awesome waitstaff more

Great pub! 12/27/2004

I love the James Joyce! It's a great neighborhood bar. It feels like you're right in Ireland. They have really good pot pies too. Pros: Not snooty, great beer more

More than a pub 4/10/2004

Everything here seems to have been shipped from Ireland, including the staff and the furnishings. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty - the welcoming handshake and actually remebering my name when visiting for lunch on successive days made my business trip that much more bearable. The beer is very good with a braod enough selection to satisfy most, although a little overpriced, and the food is good solid traditional fayre. I would recommend visiting here. Pros: Beer, Ambience, Staff more
