I've used this clinic for all our cats for all of the 7 yrs. we've lived here in Va. Never a problem! The staff is wonderful, also caring and respectful to me about my own disabilities where my daughter has to bring in my 'boys' (cats) in as needed. My cats have had the BEST care and unlike other vets but one I had in the past, when one of my cats has stayed over night, they are not fearful there or at first once they're home. One surgery was quite expensive but the doctor helped me with that issue, helping me obtain a card that has reasonable, affordable payments so needed surgery could be done. Dr. Bates explains ALL things ahead of time and being disabled, I need it to be done slowly and clearly and he obliges. My cats are used to the doctor and staff and are not fearful when they visit. When a cat heads towards his carrier when I say "go to see Dr. Bates," then you know that the doctor HAS to be gentle and caring towards them. Cats DON'T do that, at least none I had before.(Though these 2 cats seem half human!) I'm 100% pleased with Amy & the staff and especially with Dr. Bates' expertise. I highly reccomend them to anyone who loves their pets and wants the best care - both medical care and gentleness for their emotional well being, and keeping 'pet parents' informed every step of the way. Choosing this clinic in faith by numerous online reviews when we moved here in 2005 was one of the best decisions we made and stayed with. Highly recommended by our family and especially our 'fur boys' who <3 Dr. Bates.
