Senior Citizens and Customers: This place dislikes even you!! The previous rater who said the owner is a jerk is understating it! My 86 year-old mother called and placed an order. Obviously she placed it in their ""other"" store by mistake. Instead of offering to make another hoagie and sucking up the money to keep a customer happy, the owner said he would have to charge her DOUBLE if he were to make a hoagie at his store or otherwise he would not make her a hoagie! Incredible. Obviously this place does not care about its customers or Senior Citizens!! (We did take off and got the best hoagie at Armando's!!) more

Jake's Pizza has to be the best place in the universe! They have the best pizza and the employees are always very friendly. Everything is very clean and organized. The person below me is crazy. The pepporoni is delicious and the best around! The pizza is not to thin, either. The boxes are cheap but who wants to spend all that money on boxes. I mean if they get better boxes, we pay more. They have fresh homeade dough, fresh daily grated cheese, and the best sauce. Everything is sliced daily. VISIT JAKE'S PIZZA...IT IS THE BEST YOU WILL FIND AROUND. more

After being in business for 25 years, they should have figured out the customer is king. They seem to think that if you don't buy from them, someone else will. This could have been the area's best pizza shops, but they just don't care about the customer. Their ""Thick"" ($1 more) crust is better that their thin, especially if you want to feel full after a few slices. Their thin is super thin, but not very filling. Pepperoni is sliced on premesis, super thin and curls up with pools of oil in the center of them. Cutting costs (thinner crust, thin sliced pepperoni, flimsy take out boxes, ect..) is where they went wrong instead of giving their customer a superior product. Everyone knows why several competitors have shown up and are doing well... No delivery and poor service! Somebody wake up Jake before he quietly fades away. 25 years ago, this place was new and all the rage, having expanded into Rostraver from N Belle Vernon. The pizza is OK if you've never been away from the area, but it's nothing special anymore. more
