Went there for a hair cut and Ombre because all the great reviews. The stylist fried my hair. I think she left the bleach in for to long. My hair breaks every time I comb. more

I want to cry! I heard such good things about Jagged Edge, saw the great reviews on KSL with them winning awards so I made an appointment a week and a half early so I could get in with Chris, the owner, I have a pretty busy schedule so It was a little tricky because he has weird shifts. I figured with all the good reviews I have seen all over the internet that I would love it! I just needed a cut and hadn't had one in a while. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment 11:30am, the girl at the front was very nice and asked me to take a seat. I used the restroom, it's a single bathroom, the soap smelled so good and they had complimentary lotion! So I waited until about 11:50 before Chris came over and said they never told him I arrived... I got my hair washed by this nice guy, Cliff, then him and Chris blow dried my hair. I was a little turned off with him dying it first but let it go, I am not the expert here. So, he got done cutting my hair and it looked alright from the chair I was in but when I got home I was looking at it and I don't think I will ever stop crying... It is so uneven and VERY choppy, there was two chunks that were about 1/2 inch longer than the rest that I had to trim... The left is shorter than the right side and now thinking back to it, he never did compair them like I remember others doing and it has been so long since anyone has cut it that I didn't even think about it. My heart is broken, I thought the owner would be the best, how could he do this? I am just so shocked! more

I loved my experience at this salon! I previously had a very bad experience at another local salon; Schelin fixed my hair and did an amazing job!! I will be back. more

I wanted to like this place. Nice enough people. Nice enough salon. I thought I liked the outcome when I glanced in the mirror there, but the more I look at my new ""do"" the more upset I get. I'm not at all sure how long layers translates into the abstract, but I'm hoping it was his idea of art. Because I haven't seen any new trends that would excuse precise scissor strikes randomly placed from my ears on down as ""style"". Seriously? This is a ""professional"" cut? And the highlights... oh dear. When I mustered up the guts to pull it all back into a pony tail, I almost cried. Not sure what is worse, looking like a yorkshire terrier from the shag or a tuba. Maybe the lighting is bad in the salon, but when I specifically asked to avoid brassiness, this is exactly what I was worried about. While there, I assured myself that professionals don't do that anymore, but I am bright orange. But hey, maybe I wasn't specific enough. sob. more

I followed Mallorie to Jagged Edge and just love it there. It has a fun energetic atmosphere and of course I already love Mallorie and was glad to follow her there. She gives the best cuts and is a whiz with color. I highly recommend her to anyone. more

I recently went ot jagged edge to see about some serivicesI was needing. I had been referred by a freind who has gone there for some time and has alway talked about how great Chris( the owner) was. I walked in and ther was noone at the reception area. I could see in the back of the salon a few of the stylists were huddled together eating. I waited for a while and then someone came to the front to talk to me. She was very unfriendly and quite frankly, rude. Everyone else just stared. Right away I knew this was not the lace for me. When I asked my friend about why she thought this place was so great she then informed me that as of late they have messed up her hair and have not been willing to fix it without cost and have even ,ade her purchase the product herself to repair. I don't know but this just doesnt seem professional. I would not go here!!! more

I absolutely LOVE this salon! The atmosphere and staff are amazing. They are all so talented and helpful and really know what they are talking about. I was sad to have discovered they sold their downtown slc location, but find it well worth it to make the drive up to Draper! more

I cant say enough about the excellent service I received at the Jagged Edge. My appt with SEAN was amazing!! Not only did he give me the most fabulous color ever, he cut my hair and made it look longer!! The atmosphere at the salon and the fun attitude of the other stylists completed this awesome experience. Everyone was so friendly! Thanks SEAN, I love my hair!! more

By far best expiriences going in there. I always have my hair done Just the way I like it and Coco does an amazing job! Best stylest. Even all of my friends who go to her love her. Its good to know that Coco is definatly a LICENSED hair stylest because that ensures that she is even better! I love you coco and Everyone else at Jagged Edge! Went to Jagged Edge for the first time recently. Got great blonde highlights ! Not brassy at all like I've gotten with some stylists. I wouldn't say it was cheap by any means, but about the same price as any other comparable salon. Staff definitely does have some attitude however and made multiple negative comments about how I kept my hair (we can't all afford 100 dollar trips to the salon every few weeks). They also nagged me about getting a trim at least 4 or 5 times even though I just had one about 2 weeks before. But I will mostly likely make a trip back because there's no doubting they do a good job with your hair. more

Coco is an amazing stylist and has been doing my hair for 2 years now. There isn't a place I go every day where my hair doesn't turn heads and i get compliments. Go back to super cuts because obviously you don't care about your hair or your looks. Go back to your friends basement to get your hair and pay your low prices. Hair is an industry, a business, and costs money. This isn't little mexico where you can go in and bargin for what price you think your hair cut costs. If your not willing to pay then don't go or just go back to your great clips or super cuts. Obviously most of these bad comments are from people who have not been anywhere else than UTAH and their bargin bubble. Go to Cali, Florida, Newyork, Italy, Europe, Japan and try to get your hair cut and colored for under 100 bucks. Coco you Rock and I will never think of going anywhere else. more

Coco at the Jagged Edge Salon is the only stylist I trust with my hair and everyone I refer her to says the same. She always give suggestions so if you are unsure, she's very good at helping you decide what it will take to make sure you love your hair! She is honest and talented and I recommend her to anyone who is in search for a stylist!! more

I am not easily impressed with most hair stylists. Many are full of attitude but have no talent. I am extremely picky and to some probably labeled as a difficult client. But I know what I want and am willing to pay for it. I found Chris a few years ago and can honestly say that he is the best stylist around. He asks what you want, he listens to you and makes suggestions when needed. I have never left the salon disappointed. I have sent many his way and they have all been thoroughly impressed. Many of the other stylists at Jagged Edge Salon are equally impressive. Ashley, Melissa, Matt and Sean are great and make the salon an inviting place. They are all up to date on the latest styles and trends. Jagged Edge is a hip salon in suburbia... which is extremely hard to find. There is no reason to go anywhere else! more

I have been going to Matt for 4 years now and I have yet to get my hair done and not like it. He is amazing he listens to what you want but if you dont know he can throw something together that looks amazing! Every time I get my hair done I always get tons of compliments. He stays out of the salon drama and is really only concerned with you and making sure you get what you want. I would recommend Matt to every one of my closest friends. Im moving out of state soon and will most definitely have to work my trips back around getting my hair done!! Because i wont be switching to anyone else anytime soon! more

Coco has always done a absolutely fabulous job on my hair. Her cut and color is above expectations. She makes awesome recommendations if you need them. She knows all the latest trends on hair and can do anything you would ever want. She is also has a great personality and is really fun to talk to! I would never go to anyone else! more

I had always gone to the popular chain salons, yes, you know the ones... I had always thought that a haircut was a haircut ,until I went into Jagged Edge and met with Coco.... Wow! I will NEVER go back to the other ""salons."" Coco has the best, most possitive, magnetic personality. The salon itself is my tempo, I really enjoy going. If you also have personality and style and don't want the same haircut everyone else has, then this is your place too. Coco has the knowledge others wish they had. She genuinely cares and listens to what you have to say; she's been in the biz enough to offer suggestions that you'll love, plus the insight to answer questions you may have. From styling tips and color combinations to products and their user's reviews. This isn't just a job for her, it's her passion. Why go anywhere else? Your hair will look and feel amazing. I went to Sean almost by accident. I'd been going to the same lady for years and although she does an amazing job, she never did quite what I wanted. My BF had gone to Sean and thought that I might like him. I am totally converted!! Love the Jagged Edge salon and all the other friendly stylists but absa-effin-lutely love what Sean does to my hair!!! He is amazing with foils and color!! He is wicked good with his scissors! Not only have I found my hair guy, but I 've also made a friend. Totally and highly recommend Sean!! more

I just went to Chris for the first time the other day and I am so happy I did! I wasn't sure what I wanted so I sat down and said ""make me look hot"" and he totally did! I am so happy with the color and cut. He did an amazing job. He is talented and goofy. I love the laid back atmosphere in the salon. I am so glad I went to him, I found my guy and I'll never go anywhere else! THANK YOU CHRIS!!!! Pros: AWESOME.... HOTTIE MAKER! Cons: zero more

I couldn't be happier with my experiences at Jagged Edge and with Sean. He has taken me from short platinum blond to dark and back again, now with extensions. He listens to what I want and offers his expert advice each and every time. He definitely has a natural talent and you can really tell he is passionate about doing hair and making you look good. I tend to jump around from salon to salon but NEVER again! I have found the best!! Everyone at the salon is always super nice and friendly. I have never walked out of there unhappy or disappointed. more
