This is the second year we have had our annual function at Jacques. We went to Fort Monmouth for many years until politics closed it down and the folks at Jacques were very accomodating in trying to keep the cost of our luncheon near what we were paying at the fort. Both Patty and Steve were most gracious hosts and worked with us in evry way possible. more

Awesome!! 9/14/2012

My daughter's sweet 16 party was a huge success. It was a pleasure making all the arrangements with Pattie. She was so very helpful, we wouldn't have been able to do it without her. The event staff was very attentive and made me feel confident that everything was under control. I would not hesitate to book another event at Jacques. more

I was a little apprehensive when i called, took several times to get someone and then placed on hold several times. Amy was very helpful and patient, i ordered too much food,thought i wouldn't have enough. And when arrived, he was extremely helpful, although, i was never told about the sterno's, only that you didnt supply racks and tins,paper products and cutlery were not enough either, it was just a handful. more

Jacques food is great!! From the tastings to the wedding, all the food was fresh, hot and delicious!!! The value is great!! The wedding packages include so much food and a cake!! The staff was very helpful and flexible throughout our planning!! The only negative was dealing with them the few days before the wedding. We were originally told that Jacques would be setting up the inside tables on Friday between 12-3pm. Then, on Wednesday before the wedding, we were told it would be Thursday. We were then called on Friday morning and notified that it would be 4pm (which was our rehearsal time). The tables and chairs were finally dropped off at 5:30pm. Thus, we were late to our rehearsal dinner. The tables and chairs were not set up until a half hour before our wedding. Guests were already arriving and napkins were still being folded. Since we were doing a lot of the wedding planning/prep ourselves, we were not able to set the tables the way we wanted. Several items were left off of the tables due to the last minute chaos. Other than that, the wedding went off great! Our guests complimented the food. The bartenders were great!! more

Liza, the lady who helped with the menue was very helpfull and did an excellent job. Everyone in attendence raved about the quality of the food. I will be sure ti keep Jacques in mind for future use. more

I am always expecting the worst.I expect to get to my 100 plus person event an hour early and find the door locked the help disheveled outside smoking Camel cigarettes . Jacques hit a home run for me.The place was as organized as an obsessive copulative woman's kitchen.The staff was there ,clean and pleasant,the cook was cooing like he had seven hands and the ball room room was spotless.Anything I wanted I got.Lisa Tevis is a delight to work with.I do not understand why more people do not use this place.The ballroom looked as good as the Molly Pitcher's ballroom. The crew that set up and broke down the tent did a tremendous job in a small backyard space. The person that handled the initial arrangements did a fantastic job with late notice. Guests were very happy and commented that the food was 'awesome'. more

Totally delighted with pre-planning, actual affair and service! 8/23/2012

Our contact at Jacques for pre-planning our daughter's Sweet 16 was delightful and made the process easy. The set-up for the actual affair date was absolutely beautiful, adding an air of elegance to a "cocktail formal" party. The service staff and the food was outstanding! Compliments were made by all. Highly recommended for any type of affair. more

Very good, You cannot go wrong with Jacques Catering 8/23/2012

I just had to get 2 trays of Short Ribs and as usual they were awesome. My guests really enjoyed them. We had ordered other foods in the past which were really good, so thats why i will continue going here. more

I have had Jacques Catering for two parties that I have hosted. The food is delicious and has always been delivered within the time frame given. The people that come to set up the food and customer service on the phone are always professional and helpful. more

I have used Jacques Catering every Labor Day weekend for many years and also for other special events during the year. I was thrilled this year when I called to hear that Aimee Newby is back! She has handled all of my events over the years and is "customer service" at its finest. I am usually a nervous wreck getting ready for this annual party and she assures me everything will be fine and it ends up being great! I cannot thank her enough for all she does in helping me orchestrate such a large event. Jacques is lucky to have her, thanks Aimee!! more

No complaints 8/13/2012

We've used Jaques Catering for three (3) summers for our annual office picnic and i have to say from Maria & Amy to Brandon they were the best. Maria & Amy helped me figure out what we'd need, and offered great sugguestions. We went with the BarBQue special and the ribs were better than good. I'd like to give a special shout out to Brandon, he was so helpful, helping us set up & move our tables although that it wasn't his job to do so. Oh almost forgot was always worried we wouldn't have enough food, Jaques doesn't skimp therer was enough for everybody & for seconds, you can't go wrong with Jaques :) more
