My wedding was better than expected, better than a fairytale, it was literally a dream come true. The easiest thing we did, besides me saying "yes", was the venue. Jacques was the perfect choice! We have been to many weddings and events there, the food is always delicious and the service is fantastic! So the choice, was really a no brainer. My husband and I felt completely comfortable discussing with Amy and of our likes and dislikes, and what we expected, and Jacques made all that happen, and then some. From the planning process to the actual wedding date, I felt like it was always about us. I was even blown away by the attention my husband and I received from the hostess and the waiters, they were always there to refill drinks, bring us food, and pack away our wedding cake when it was clear dancing was way more important! My parents were more than thrilled with the special attention they received from the waitstaff, I don't think my dad had to get up from the table at all to get any of his drinks :-) Overall wonderful experience, extremely pleased, and would do it all again with Jacques in a heartbeat!!! more

Our "Perfect" Wedding Reception, October 26, 2013 1/9/2014

We would like to thank everyone at Jacques for making our wedding reception just pefect, not only for us, but for our guests too. Aimee Newby was such a tremendous help and support to us right from the beginning, she made the planning go so much easier. The venue itself is just breathtaking, a nice warm atmosphere. The wait staff and bar attendants were a cut about the best..thank you to all. The food was delicious, our guests are still talking about it. A great time was had by all. Would highly recommend this facility if you are in the market for a wedding or any type of celebration gathering place. Thank you to all at Jacques who made this day all we had hoped for. Everything we could ask for!! 12/4/2013

We were married there November 2013. Aimee and Steven worked with us for over a year, making sure everything was exactly what we wanted and how we wanted. Even stayed late to show the facility at night, because our ceremony was being held outside and we needed to check the lights. Every phone call, email and visit was met with professionalism, enthusiasm and genuine warmth. When our big night came, The entire staff was friendly and attentive, everything was perfect. They delivered a true fairy tale. Our guests have repeatedly raved that the wedding was the most amazing wedding they have ever attended. If there were a higher rating, Jacques would get it. If you go anywhere else, you will be disappointed. more

Jacques Reception Center is wonderful! 11/11/2013

We held my son's Eagle Court of Honor and private family after party at Jacques Reception Center in Hazlet. The meeting and banquet facilities are gorgeous, ALL of the staff are wonderful to work with, and the food is outstanding. We highly recommend Jacques and will definitely be back for more celebrations. more

Mother Teresa Regional School Fund Raiser 11/8/2013

On November 2, 2013, Mother Teresa Regional School held a "Casino Night" themed fund-raiser at Jacques Reception Center in Middletown, NJ. From all of us at the school, we would like to say THANK YOU. We were all very impressed with every detail of the night and with the site itself. Jacques Reception Center is gorgeous inside and out, and impeccably maintained. The staff could not have been more courteous, professional, or helpful. They were willing to work with us on several points, and for this we are truly grateful. Last but certainly not least, the food was delicious!!!! We look forward to hosting more events with Jacques in the future. more

Awesome party thanks to Aimee! 10/27/2013

We hosted my niece's engagement party on October 26, 2013 at Jacques Reception Center in Middletown. Aimee Newby was so attentive to all of our needs and requests that we booked and planned the party on our first meeting. With her expert decor recommendations and menu choices, Aimee made it so easy to plan a lounge theme party to encourage two families that have never met to thoroughly mingle. The food is always exquisite at Jacques. Saying the food is "the best" is not just an expression but the actual true description. Rey and the staff were professional and courteous as they tended to their regular duties and some special requests with a smile. Some people may say they will be back for their next party, but we actually did. The first party, a few years ago, was excellent but Aimee made this one even better! more

Thanks to Aimee, Captain Ray and the entire staff for making our event a success. Great food and service delivers a great party. DJ recommendation spot on. The room decor was beautiful. Have always used Jacques for our catering needs, but this is the first time using their Middletown venue. Would highly recommend to family and friends. more

Always a Great Time! 8/28/2013

I've had the pleasure of attending quite a few parties at Jacques and each and ever time I noticed the level of care and professionalism is straight through the roof. Aimee and the staff there really pay attention to every detail and do it with pride. From there always consistent delicious food, to the cleanliness and overall beauty of their facility, Jacques should receive a 5 star rating for each each and every event they are in charge of. I've also used them for off premise catering and everyone raved about the food and service provided. When considering a venue for your Wedding, Sweet 16, Corporate Event or any other occasion, it would be a crime to you and your guests if you didn't check out Jacques and see what they can do for you. more

My most sincere and heartfelt thank you to Lisa Tevis and entire Jacques Catering staff. As the hostess of my lst Client Appreciation Party, I brought in Lisa and Jacques team as I knew they provide the highest level of service. And, no surprise-- the party was 100%+++ off the charts for the very very best of quality food: my clients are still raving about the selection and how delicious everything was. Most importantly, Lisa and team worked so hard to ensure my clients were happy. Tiredlessly prior to the event, checking on every detail, and the event itself was a huge success-- i did not have any worries-- knowing that such an experienced team would provide the utmost, stellar service you could ever ask for! Family Reunion was great. 7/27/2013

Thank you so much for wonderful service provided for our family reunion barbecue. It was held on the hottest day of the summer but your chef, Fred, was cool as a cucumber. He was friendly but professional. The food was delicious and there is nothing that I could suggest to improve the service. We will definitely recommend your services. July 20, 2013 Lisa Tevis the catering manager is top notch. Her recommendations were spot on. The crew came a few days prior to the event to set up and did a great job. The day of the party the staff was well organized, helpful, pleasant and incredibly professional. The food was delicious and plentiful. My guests complimented us on a wonderful party. On June 21st we had my daughter's Sweet 16 at Jacques in Middletown. I cannot explain to you how pleased we were with everything. We are indebted to Aimee Newby for all of her assistance and guidance. Her breezy and easy manner was instrumental in helping us figure out our menu and turning our party into a special night. Aimee is personable and professional and we owe her much. I kept joking that I wanted to have a party every week so that we could work with her more. The staff was wonderfully attentive, the food was great and we were just happy and satisfied with everything all around. more

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your staff is the best! Everyone went above and beyond to help us with our yard set up on Saturday. I am forever grateful for all the hard work they put in. What a team! What genuine kindness! I cant say enough good things about your staff; they worked hard to make sure the surprise party went off without a hitch. All our guests loved the barbecue!!! Amazing! Best by far! 4/14/2013

We celebrated our Civil Union, using the Ballroom in the Clubhouse of our development yesterday. Jacques handled everything...staff, planning, schedule for the night...and we never had anything to worry ourselves about. Lisa Tevis and her staff made every one of our guests feel special. The food was fantastic. As far as we're concerned, there is only ONE caterer for our needs and will recommend Jacques every chance we get! Thanks so much to the entire staff who handled our event. more

My baby shower and christening 2/19/2013

I had my baby shower in September and my sons christening last weekend. Everything was phenomenal from the service to the food. Aimee Newby is who took care of us both times and planned everything. She couldn't have been any better. We got nothing but great compliments from our guests. Every event will be held at Jacques from now on and I will make sure to have Aimee as our planner. more

I have had Jacques do my x-mas party catering at a construction site for 8 years now. Each and every time it goes smoothly, the food is great, and everyone leaves happy. I can not tell you how incredibly easy dealing with Aimee has been over the years. It makes the entire process of having a catered event an easy endeavor. more

Baby Shower 9/18/2012

Searched around quite a bit for locations to hold the shower, Jacques gave us the best price. The food was excellent, the staff made sure everybody was having fun and the hall was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend Jacques to anyone having any type of party more
