Jack is a really nice, knowledgeable man with many years in sewing machine repair. He performed a yearly maintenance on my 20YO Kenmore in a timely fashion (about a week!) for ~20$ less than the big shop stores. He was personable and accommodating (""my hours are your hours""). I would definitely give him a try! more

I was referred to Jack from a woman that does my long arm quilting for me. I had previously taken my machines to fabric and sewing machine stores and never got my machine back working right or they told me I was doing something wrong. They replaced the needle and said it was fixed. Jack has now fixed two (2) single needle machines that I own. He did a great job. I am very pleased with his work and my machines works and I can now sew without any problems. His prices are very fair and honest. I can't say enough good things about him. more

My bobbin case was acting a bit funny and I knew that it could use a tune up. I searched and found Jack's online and called him since the reviews were great and he was located very close to me. He had several machines he was working on but finished mine sooner than he told me he would. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! more

My sewing machine was having some really bad problems, and I was in a panic. I googled sewing machine repair, and found Jack's phone number. I am so glad I found him! I took my sewing machine to him, and he was able to fix it right then and there in front of me. Such a nice gentleman, I will recommend him to everyone I know! more

I am very glad I had Jack look at my serger. He was very professional and explained everything to me. It looks great; good as new. Can't wait to get sewing again. And for a very reasonable price. more

My machine is back in working order. 4/27/2012

Jack was easy to communicate with. He clearly knows sewing machines and was able to diagnose my machine's issues quickly. The price was fair and the work was done well and professionally. My 1970's White sewing machine is now back in working order. So nice to be able to sit down and sew again! more

So wonderful! 2/7/2012

I found Jack thanks to a quick internet search and a LOT of five-star reviews. And man, are those reviews well deserved!!! He is absolutely the best. He is an extremely sweet man, who works on machines because he loves it! He really knows what he is doing and can give you some great information about how to keep your sewing machine running perfectly. I called him about a vintage Brother machine I picked up at a secondhand store. It never worked quite right, but I wasn't sure what was wrong...all I was sure about was that I wanted to keep it. Jack took a look for me, and told me it probably just needed a nice, thorough cleaning and that he'd take care of that for me. I also asked him if he could replace the lightbulb in the machine for me, and he said no problem! I got a call just over four days after dropping it off, saying it was all ready to go. I was amazed, it didn't even look like the same machine! (apparently there were cobwebs inside that he had to clean out though, yikes) I ended up paying $71.25 for the tune-up and lightbulb replacement, a very affordable price for the best service I've seen! I've been telling everyone I know about Jack. He is amazing. more

Glad I found him 2/3/2012

I owe finding Jack to the positive reviews, and am glad I did. He is friendly, quick and I love to find someone who loves what they do. I wasn't sure what my machine needed, but he knew exactly and took care of it for a really fair price. I am telling all my friends with machines about him. more

Jack's Sewing Machine Repair is the BEST! 12/29/2011

Very satisfied customers! 11/18/2011

My wife and I were about to throw away her old, once reliable Sears Kenmore sewing machine until we found Jack Brown's Sewing Machine Repair Shop in Sandy, Utah. more

Wonderful! 9/8/2011

I found Jack's Sewing Machine Repair Shop through yellowbook. I called and Jack picked up the phone on the first few rings. He was very friendly and helpful. I was able to drop off my machine immediately. He explained that he would take a look at my machine and call me with an estimate that afternoon, which he did. It needed a good cleaning and a deep oiling and was ready the next morning. He charged $69.00 and gave me tips on how to keep my machine in better running condition and how to keep from needing deep cleanings as often. Fast and friendly service and would definitely recommend. more
