Best BBQ place in the City maybe even State! 11/17/2006

I have traveled all over the country in search of BBQ, and nobody does it better than Kansas City. Everytime I'm in K.C. I'm sure to eat at one of the Jack Stack locations. The environment is outstanding, as for BBQ it is an upscale BBQ place, with great food. The burnt ends are out of this world! You can order the BBQ online and get it anywhere in the states. Service is always top notch. Not only is the meat great, but the sides and the salads are as well. I would highly reccomend this restaurant to everybody. Pros: Great BBQ Cons: only four locations more

Has positives and negatives 4/14/2006

Jack Stack has some great things going for it. It is in a b-e-a-utiful building. This is the place to take that special someone, the business clients, or someone who loves good atmosphere. The BBQ is very good. I love the sides, especially the cheesy potatoes. The amount of food is decent. But it is not that cheap. If you want to eat BBQ in a very nice location and pretty good food, go here. If you want some more food for a little less, I would say pick Smokestack, LC's, or OK Joes. There are many places to eat in the bbq of the world.And there is a best of the best.It is Fiorella's Jack Stack.The quality of the food is excellant,consistantly.The service is outstanding.consistantly.The steaks,and fresh fish are amazing on open fire,the beef,pork,lamb,chicken,all the way down to the sauce simply IS the standard for bbq world wide! Jack Stack is The BEST 12/27/2004

Beef or Pork Burnt Ends, Pork Spare Ribs, Baby Back Pork Ribs, Lamb Ribs, Hickory Pit Beans, Sausage, Fire-Roasted Salmon, Steaks, Extensive Drink Menu. I'm in heaven whenever I go for dinner with clients, friends, and family. There's absolutely no other barbecue restaurant for me, and I've sampled plenty over 30 years here in Kansas City. This is a first-class restaurant. Voted Best Barbeque in America by the Zagat's Review. The restaurant has a classy appeal and the wait staff is great everytime I go. Fiorella's Jack Stack is some AWESOME barbeque. Living in the land of BBQ, one has the advantage of being able to pick and choose depending on what you want (beans, beef, pork, coleslaw) as every one seems to specialize. Fiorella's is unique in that they have no weak spots in their menu. Piquant beans, wonderful sauce, smoky meats...It's all there! The only downside is that it is NOT inexpensive for BBQ. One can easily find a less expensive BBQ joint, but maybe not a better one. Pros: Delicious!, Good parking, Variety Cons: price more

Best of the Best 11/30/2003

I come from TX originally and consider this my #2 BBQ place on the planet. I now live in WA and have spices and sauces delivered from Jacks Stack because I want that flavor from 2000 miles away.
