I called Jack Woods because my mother in law had always used them. The plumber that came out - Tim - greatly exceeded our expectations. He helped with two leaks we had and also did a little extra work on a small sink in our basement. We were very happy - the work was professional, the price was very reasonable and the results were better than I even imagined they would be. more

Had a problem with one of the tub drain stoppers. I think the wife dumped in pure acid to unclog it! What it did was eat the chrome metal finish off. Now that was ugly! I spent a day trying to get the darn thing screwed out of the existing PVC. All I did was screw it up even worse. I called Jack Woods for help. Mind you before I called him, I contacted one of XYZ plumbers who sent this fancy talking guy to my house. Said the whole drain assembly would have to be replaced under the house. & would take a minimum of 2 hours & 3 guys to do the job. I like to had a ""heart attack""! OK, now here comes Bill, from Jack Woods Plumbing to the house today by himself. One hour later, he was gone! This man knows how to get the job done, and done right!!!! I was told that he always sets the new heaters low to pass the inspection by Franklin County. I told him we've had it for a month and it's worked fine till today. He told me to turn it up a little at a time till we had enough hot water. He never addressed my concern or gave me a valid explanation of why this would happen after a month. He acted like I was an idiot and kept saying to turn up the heat. He even told me maybe one of my children turned it low or the the inspected did it. I said my child is 25 and doesn't go into the basement and that the inspected never even touched the heater. He merely pointed at things with his flashlight. Very disappointed at their non answer. Great Job! They dug out a problem pipe in my basement, replaced significant piping and I've used again to put in new bathroom fixtures requiring piping! Excellent quality of work and clean up. The pricing seemed very fair (not inexpensive) but worth it. I would recommend them for small and large jobs. more

I've used Jack L Woods Plumbing a couple of times and never had a problem. In one case he talked me out of doing something I wanted to do but offered an alternative instead, and that worked out just fine. He saved me time, money, and aggravation in the long run. To me, quality, honesty and integrity is worth more to me than a cheap repair. more

I have used Jack Woods for copper water pipe rerouting and to add natural gas outside for a new grill. On both jobs they were on time, completed the job quickly, and the quality of work was excellent. more

too much talking, not enough working. installed two new toilets, they leaked, scheduler couldn't get anyone else out for 5-7 days. towels on the floor catching the water. upon return, leaks still not fixed. called another company. more

I had Jack Woods replace all the cast iron drain pipes in my house. I was remodeling the bathroom, so I hired them to do all the plumbing. They removed the plumbing fixtures so I could retile the bathroom. Then they installed new fixtures and a hot water recirculation line. When working they capped off the water pipes so my family could use the other bathroom. I wasn't without water in the rest of the house for more than 30 minutes for the entire project! What I liked about them was:\r \r 1. They sent enough people so that the work could proceed quickly.\r 2. Quality work. They didn't just use cheap straps to hang the PVC, they used high strength platic hooks. When installing the drain pipe to my new sink, they used chrome pipe to match the chrome legs on the sink. The caulking aroung the fixtures was neatly done.\r 3. I let them select some of the fixtures, such as the hot water heater and the recirculation pump. They selected heavy duty quality stuff.\r 4. I have been using Jack Woods Plumbing for years. They are usually very responsive. When they give you an estimate on a time, they will call you at work first so you're not home all day waiting. They do excellent work and prices are reasonable. more
