Jack Astor's Bar & Grill 6/22/2006

Jack Astor's Bar & Grill is located at 2300 Walnut Street in Cary, North Carolina. They are the best. They have a unique idea of paper tableclothes. You can play all sorts of games on it if you wish. The restaurant has consisently good service with smiles on their faces! I was glad I went there the last time because they made me feel great. They are never too pushed for time that you can't pick out what you want without feeling badly. It took me a long time, as it usually does, because all the food is good. I love the atmosphere as well. It can get noisy at times, but for the most part it is ok. I recommend this place at four stars. more

Great place for first date/proposal 4/14/2006

We went here for St. Patty's Day dinner with a bunch of friends. It's an old standby for our group - consistently good food, decent service, and a good bar. Well, two of our friends had gone there on their first date a few years prior. After the dinner dishes were cleared off, he stood up and announced to the entire restaurant that he was proposing! It was very cute. Management was really cool about bringing us a bottle of champagne, drinks, and desserts. I also enjoy the paper tablecloths! A friend and I played the dot game to pass the time while we waited for our food. Good times. more

Fun Place 1/26/2006

My favorite part about Jack Astors are the table clothes. they cover their tables in paper, and you can color on it while you wait for your food. I had a birthday party here and it was fantastic. The waitstaff were very plesant and I still have the table cloth :O) more

Get the Cheese Bread 1/26/2006

Jack Astor's has the best cheese bread on the planet. If you visit this restaurant and do not get the cheese bread, you will be sorry. The restaurant is casual and has paper tablecloths in the style of Macaroni Grill. Humorous art work adorns the walls of the restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and peppy. more
