JIS "rebuilt" are shipped with used parts! Ask me how I know this? Bought rebuilt 4G63 long block from JIS via e-Bay. Water pump failed @ 5000 Mi. Timing belt failed @ 31000 mi - -with extensive valve/head damage. No recourse when complained. Re-use of used wear items is standard for them!!! more

Bought rebuilt long block off ebay and had a professional certified mechanic install it. Started it up and found coolant in cylinder. Called seller up and told him about the problem and he said to send it back on my dime. Now I just spent $1600 on the engine (including shipping) $2000 on misc new parts and labor and I'm supposed to pay my mechanic to pull the motor back out, strip it down and ship it back to have them look at it because they don't take the word of a professional mechanic. Oh and then I have to pay for shipping again to get it back and pay my mechanic to install it again and hope they got it right. All because they didn't do it right the first time. This is why they don't offer a labor warranty on ebay because they know nobody in their right mind will pay for that therefore they don't check for quality and send out junk. Worst people I have EVER dealt with and for all you potential customers spend your hard earned money elsewhere. more
