Great, Friendly, experience! 11/4/2010

I called J J Towing because I needed a town. My car engine just gave up on me and I needed to take it to a shop. Jay was the person that took my call and was very friendly on the other side of the phones. He was able to get a driver to where I was in a very timely matter. The driver was very professional and the cost was significantly less than other places. Even though I was very upset because I didn?t know what was wrong with my car, my whole experience with this company was excellent!!! I definitely recommend this towing company to anyone!!!!! more

HORRIBLE, RUDE SERVICE 10/29/2009

Does not deserve 1 star! Montgomery Police department used this company after our car was totalled in an accident. I called (from the hospital, where my son was admitted) to find out when I could get in the car to get our belongings. Michael was incredibly RUDE and wanted an extra $100 (cash!) to ""allow"" me access on a Saturday morning! He acted like he was doing ME a favor. All this added to my already stressed condition. When I got there, my car also had damage to the rear bumper (the accident was head-on) and I had to deal with a large pit bull on a long chain that was lunging at me, barely missing biting my leg. I felt very threatened! He demanded cash only. I had another towing company get my totalled car out of there as quickly as possible - all the while listening to Michael complain about having to ""wait and lose money"" and dodging the jaws of that dog. This jerk only had to ""wait and lose money"" for 10 minutes. I notified Montgomery Police about this treatment; also notified the IRS and Illinois revenue because he is obviously dodging taxes to boot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Hopefully he will be out of business very very soon. Cons: damaged car, limited access to car, threatened with dog more

HORRIBLE, RUDE SERVICE 10/29/2009

Doesn't even deserve 1 star! Montgomery Police Department used this service to tow our totalled car. Not only was Michael totally RUDE on the phone (I was with my son in the hospital at the time!), but he wanted to charge me an extra $100 just to walk on the lot to retrieve our belongings from the car (on a Saturday morning)! Furthermore, he wanted CASH only. What choice did I have? They damaged the rear bumper of the car (all accident damage was in front), and also have a pit bull on the premises that loves to lunge at customers (I was almost bitten) and is used to threaten customers into paying cash and leaving quickly. I notified Montgomery Police of these practices, Illinois tax department, and IRS because they are obviously hiding income. What a freaking moron! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Hopefully, it will be shut down soon! Cons: Further damage to car, limit access to get car, demand cash more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! 2/19/2009

I have never met more stupid people in my life. This business and their owners stink. Jay is a liar and does not treat his customers with respect. I do not recommend this business even if it was the last towing place for 200 miles! I had the worst customer service and Jay did not answer my phone calls and never calls back. Never go there-they are dishonest people who will screw you over in the end! I wouldn't even give them a one star rating! Pros: no pros Cons: THUMBS DOWN more

AAA FAST SERVICE RESAONABLE RATE 8/26/2007

I DROKE DOWN AT 3 AM AND CALLED THEY HAD A TRUCK THERE IN 12 MINUITS I WAS VERY SUPRIZED AND THEY TOWED ME AND MY CAR HOME WITH NO PROBLEMS VERY NICE PEOPLE AND WAITED FOR ME TO GET IN THE HOUSE AND TOOK MY CHECK VERY NICE AND VERY PROMPT Pros: VERY NICE Cons: NONE more
