J's Hamburgers and Such is an oft-overlooked Piedmont favorite with none of the pretense and stuffiness of some of the other establishments on the ave. It's a dimly-lit little cable car thing with a massive menu full of authentic Mexican breakfast and dinner plates (the ""And Such"") and of course, burgers. (I'd stick with the Mexican food...you can get a more memorable burger at Barney's, though J's are tasty.) Portions are generous and prices are low. Order at the counter and come back to pick up your own food, but once you do, you'll get just the greasy satisfaction you came for!
