J Diamond Mobile Ranch

Gotta second the last review. The older reviewers must have been here before the new management folks arrived. We had a great stay - friendly customer service, very helpful, clean long showers, nice creek with ducks, easy pull thru's with big old shady trees. Sure, it's an older park, but if you want a concrete experience just head over to one of the newer parks - but watch out - not very nice folks and the rec room thats supposed to be open all the time is NOT. more

Just want to reply based on some issues others brought up about the park. I'm not sure what mental health issues and nightmares about driving in was about...? Nearly all the spots are easy pull thru's and the manager is a real pro at getting just about any rig in right and easy. She got ours in a spot that I never thought could be done! Also, regarding nothing for kids to do: mine were allowed to fish in the stream, ducks to feed, and there's a big field back behind the park for them to play in, etc, etc. The town park is right across the street too. Electrical issues: yes, it is an old park, but I had no problem getting someone to open the breaker box and got the problem fixed. Internet: They told me that they are in the process of getting wifi for the park soon (writing this in June, 2011). Overall, it's a charming place, quiet, and like others said, it's close to lots of places in town, fishing spots, etc. more

We stayed there for a couple of days. Not the greatest, but it's nice to be right in town, near restaurants, especially right there at Schats! It is a bit 'tired', but they have overnight spots toward the front, right near the grassy area, a little stream with lots of fish and ducks. Not the best for a family with kids. I didn't see anyplace for them to play. more

J Diamond Mobile Ranch is one of those places that should Carry a government health warning ( mental health ) Because of the nightmares you might have after driving in. Save yourself the trouble and spend the extra $5 and drive another mile to Highlands RV park. more

J Diamond is mostly a residential park, but has spaces for travelers as well. The park has shady trees and a little brook flows through it. There are even benches on the grassy banks where you can sit and feed the ducks if you like, Plus, it's right next door to Schat's bakery! It's not fancy but has pull-thru spaces with full or partial hook-ups and a friendly atmosphere. There are bathrooms and showers, but I didn't try them out when I was there. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to stopping in again when I am in the area. more
