It was in the middle of the winter and everyone was calling J % D Plumbing & Heating. They took the time to come out and check on the heating problem. Right away, they identified the problem and removed the piece that same day. Part of it needed to be repaired and some other parts replaced. The technician said it would be ready in a week. He was actually back in 4 days! I was pleased with the how everything was done quickly, left clean, and got my heat back. more

I have called J&D twice - once to add a clean-out and once to fix a pipe with little water pressure and a leaky faucet. The people scheduling the appointments are very friendly and take time to discuss the possible issues with the plumbing. I had two different employees come to the house, and both were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They explained their work, were very knowledgeable, didn't push unnecessary services, and they worked efficiently. You can't ask for better service from this company. I will recommend highly to anyone! more

I called J & D Plumbing & Heating Contractors a couple times for stoppages. They came on time as they told me they would. When he was done in a short amount of time, he was able to complete a few other to-dos on my list that only took a couple of minutes each, like fixing a dripping faucet. Because it was an hourly rate, I got multiple things done at an affordable price. I've used their service at at least twice and I had the same serviceman twice. He was nice and friendly. I felt comfortable with him and the quality of his work. more

We had an emergency when the hot water heater went out. I was out of town. I called J & D Plumbing, and they came right out to repair it for my wife. Also, two years ago, they completely remodeled a bathroom in this house. They were quick and efficient. more

As my dad's power of attorney, I took it very seriously when trying to find a good, trustworthy plumbing company for my father's home. We had been burned by other companies, but Buddy of J & D Plumbing & Heating made me feel at ease. We initially talked on the phone in detail about the plumbing issues at my dad's house. He answered all of my questions. He was also fair and reasonable when it came to working out prices and services. When it came to the actual services, they performed everything they said they would. So far, it's been the same serviceman all times that we've had them over, and he has been phenomenal. My dad's live-in caregivers even said they had not seen such a professional, true, and honest worker like him in a very long time. He goes above and beyond in his communication and his follow through. I truly recommend this company, and I will continue to use them going forward. more

We have one bathroom in our house and the toilet was not flushing properly. We called J&D and they sent out a plumber who at first said there was nothing wrong, but then after our insistance replaced a cartridge in the tank. 10 minutes after he left, the toilet wouldn't flush again and had sprung a leak at the tank. They said they would be back mid afternoon to replace the toilet, but by 2:30 we hadn't heard from them. We called and then they said they couldn't get a toilet until the next day which was unacceptable. The supervisor came out and was very rude. more

We have two different businesses we use J&D Plumbing & Heating Contractors for. The first is an athletic club that is 25,000 square feet. We've had various plumbing problems. The building's been there for 33 years so some of the stuff is quite old. They've been unbelievably responsive. We've been using them since 2006. The other business is a 45,000 square foot office building with different tenants, who obviously have different problems. We've had everything. A water heater went haywire one time and they came in and fixed not only the water heater, but also the dry wall everywhere around it that got damaged. One of the nicest things I can say about them is that when I put a call in for anything I don't have to think about it again. If there's more to be done I hear back from them. Just give them a try. The response is good, they're available on an emergency basis, and they take care of things. We tell some of our tenants to call them directly and they get the same type of response we do. The vice president of our company, who does all of the operations for the athletic club, refers them to other jobs all the time. I trust what they do. I've been having them do work on my own home for the same period of time. I think very highly of them and it's not just the owner of the company. It doesn't matter who they send out, the service is always good. They're reliable. more

I had them snake a few times. They are very efficient. They come when they say they will come, they don't make you wait. They are very honest and they get the job done. It seems like they have knowledgeable people working for them. The thing I like is that they have been in business for quite a while. more
