I have been going to this place for the past few years. and in the past few months a few times every week lol. I recomend the TUXEDO its reeeaaalllll good. They also do cool artwork in your drink once in a while to if you have froth in it. Also try the american classic panini that is one of my favorites. Pros: Good paninis and drinks as well as gelato Cons: 1.50$ wont get you much more

This is THE best coffeeshop in Chicago! 6/10/2005

JBean really does have the best coffee in Chicago. I've been to all the places everyone else recommends while doing a cafe ethnography study last year and JBean, hands down, serves the best kava. I highly recommend any flavored Lattes or Cappucinos as their syrups are incredible! Service is fast & friendly. The place is quiet enough to relax but also great for conversation. Awesomness! 12/3/2004

I have been going to this coffee shop for about two years and everytime I go is a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is cozy with great music playing in the background. It's a great place to go to study or just chat with your buddies. They have a few board games for those interested and wonderful coffee. Besides coffee, they offer an assortment of sadwiches, salads, cakes and gelatos. I recomend everything on the menu. The service is superb and friendly. The shop is also very clean! Calling all coffee lovers! The best coffee in Illinois can be found at J Bean. It is conveniently located near the Harlem and Irving Plaza. I love coffee and I love to experiment.
