Truly exceptional service 7/15/2013

We urgently need to upgrade the RAID controllers in our older, mission critical production machines (from another vendor) but I had no idea what's available and compatible with our existing hardware and software setup. I turned to Kevin at iXsystems and after a few brief emails to exchange part numbers, Kevin was not only able to expertly identify exactly what we needed but was also able to have the replacement controllers rush ordered. All shortly before closing on a late Friday afternoon. We are very grateful for Kevin's help and his sensitivity and responsiveness to our urgency. more

The IX Systems staff fully understands the role of storage in the enterprise. 6/17/2013

IX Systems has been an excellent resource for my company as we've struggled with commoditizing storage. Storage growth has exploded over the last few years. Working in a backup environment we've leveraged the best in class applications to allow for deduplication and high speed data ingest. However; as a managed service provider our cost was directly tied to storage. With the high cost of SAN infrastructure we were quickly pricing ourselves out of the market. Kevin Le at IX Systems helped us realize the cost of unnecessary SAN features. Working with him we were able to get a true understanding of our requirements. With our backup software doing the heavy lifting; he was able to help us right size a NAS infrastructure at a fraction of expected costs. Bottom line. IX Systems was able to keep our costs low enough to allow us to remain competitive as a managed service provider in the data backup / archive / recovery space. more

The IX customer service staff has been very knowledgable and engaging. Unlike most Supermicro VARs IX has their own software products and support available. They have been a pleasure to work with, helping meet our challenging schedule. more

They Earned Every Star 6/10/2013

My experience with ixSystems has been nothing short of stellar. I hate giving 5 starts but honestly couldn't find anything to fault these guys on. I spent months researching a NAS/SAN solution. I finally purchased a FREENAS ISCSI SAN running on ixSystem hardware. It has all the features and flexibility that I required. I have a corporate level central storage system with all the horsepower I need for a much lower cost than the other vendors. I'm running a full Windows 2012 domain in a VMware virtual environment and haven't even come close to hitting the performance boundaries yet. The sales team was knowledgeable and helpful, the support team has been super, the solution is awesome, the price is great. What else can I say? more

Kevin is great to work with for quoting out projects and he doesn't hesitate to point out where money could be saved. The shipping and packaging is top notch even for very heavy servers. Good prices and service! more

Quality People, Quality Hardware 5/30/2013

I has been my pleasure to transition away from the large hardware vendors to iXsystems for various reasons. First and foremost, they are a team of individuals that have always delivered beyond my expectations. Secondly, they openly support FreeBSD and other open source projects, which is unheard of from HP and Dell. Finally, they use quality hardware and are capable of fielding technical questions about system specific details. more

Through excellence, iX replaced all of our other server vendors with more competitive quotes and better quality builds. iX knows their hardware matrix and support better than the OEM. If you are looking for many 9's of quality and a way to make your small or busy team go further faster, lean on the team at iX. The sales guys (Kevin and Brent) have been more knowledgeable than the average engineers at much of the competition. Get quoted there for your next purchase! more

Tech call for server setup was correct 5/17/2013

Just wanted a support tech to get on a system I setup for some self assurance I was doing things the right away. Within a day I had a time setup, call, webex, and a tech who knew it all! Within an hour I was confirmed not to mention armed with a bit more knowledge and some tweaks I never would have found on my own. 5* all the way! more

He gets quotes out to me very quickly and goes above and beyond to make sure I get the right solution. Paul and the rest of the support team respond to our requests very promptly.
