This not a place I would recommend for mom's and beginners! Please read all the bad reviews about this place! The good reviews are probably written by someone at island rock because they have so many bad ones. The staff were so rude and obnoxious to me that we just left the place. We were planning to hold kids party there but after the way they treated us, I'm giving someone else my business! It's small,smelly and the staff that will instruct you or your child are not professionals. Again! To all mom's and beginners read the bad reviews first! Your safety or your child's safety is at risk! more

Fun New Experience for Beginners/Families 12/1/2011

My family and I have been going to this place for the last few years and overall I have had a very positive experience. When we first went to Island Rock we were looking for new/interesting ways to keep fit and now Island Rock has become a regular family tradition for us. The staff is always around to answer questions if needed and they seem to know what they are talking about. This is a great activitiy for people that are looking to try new things. I have also seen birthday parties there and the kids seem to have a great time. I would definitely recommend trying this place at least once to anybody. more

Biggest Scammers 3/7/2010

This place is the worst!! other than being dirty they are scammers! They talked me into joining for a month and then charged my credit card repeated times.They charged me on the end of the month and then 5 days later. I went to cancel and the manager Mark told me I had to send a letter certified mail! He would not stop charging my credit card until I did so. they apparently have done this often and are being investigated with the Better Business Bureau. It has been an awful experience. Cons: dirty and scam your credit card more
