Island 16 Cinema

We drive from Centerport to Holtsvills because of the excellent physical structure available to us as moviegoers. The stadium seating remains the best that I have experienced. Their reserved seating guarantees a seat, regardless of the film or the night. We have even made it, once or twice, to their $6.00 Tuesday Bargain Night. The staff has been nothing but courteous and respectful. If the ""high prices"" demanded by the concession stands put you off, eat healthily BEFORE you go and get beyond the thought that watching a film REQUIRES ""food"" and high fructose corn syrup. This place is a gem. Who knows, I might just see you there. If you know of a ""better"" movie theater closer to us, let us know. Until then, they have my coin and it's worth it. more

My biggest problem is the cost of the concession stand. A regular order of fries with cheese and a medium soda was priced at $8.00+ with tax. What a major ripoff......As well as the other concession vendors in this cinema. Pros: Theatre is large Cons: CONCESSION STANDS ARE A MAJOR RIPOFF!!!! more
