great knowledge about breast pumps 3/18/2006

I was looking for a pump as I was returning to work full-time and although the prices at Isis were more than at a lot of other places (I ended up buying my pump online), the staff there were very knowlegable about all the kinds of pumps and they have a great selection so that I could see what all the kinds were. They also sell lots of medela parts so that if I need a part or a sterilizing bag, i can pick one up right in brookline. more

Got info and support 1/18/2006

I found them on a breastfeeding help line and went in to get a product, but what I ended up with was much better. A free breastfeeding group with a lactation specialist helped me understand where our problem lay and made the most helpful suggestions even better than my doctors office. Things are going so much better. I've been back twice more and feel very comfortable there. The staff are very kind and friendly. more

Isis Maternity provides a number of valuable services for couples who are expecting a baby, as well as for new partners. They offer childbirth education, exercise and yoga classes, and a variety of groups for parents, with and without their babies. they ease the transition to parenthood and foster good parenting. more

Classes for Pregnant Women and New Parents and Unique Store 9/2/2005

Isis Maternity offers prenatal classes and a ton of classes for new parents. I've been to two classes there and found both to be very worthwhile as a way to meet other moms (and as an excuse to get out of the house with a baby!) The products they carry are outstanding and hard to find elsewhere in Boston. The staff is quite knowledgeable and very friendly. more

Excellent classes - hard to find items 7/28/2005

Isis Maternity, located at Brookline Place in Brookline, specializes in pregnancy and new mom classes and hard to find items for pregnant and babies. The classes there are excellent and taught by fabulous practitioners and experts. They offer a huge variety of classes from exercise to childbirth, and the prices are not too expensive. In addition, they also have a store which carries some hard to find items including baby toys, at fairly reasonable prices. more
