If you are looking for movers in an around MA area I would recommend Issac Moving and Storage as someone else had recommended them to us and they proved to be a good moving company. My experience with Issac came positive. They arrived on time, were careful with all of my belongings, worked efficiently and quickly. Nothing of mine was knicked or missing. They were so professional and polite. It made my move so much easier to work with trustworthy and professional people. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier?s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. more

Thanks Issac for helping us to relocate actually it was recommended to us by family friends who had recently took moving with them and it was a kind of word of mouth publicity. The guys showed up early, were extremely polite and careful, worked very hard, and finished early and under budget (even after we added a trip to our storage space). They personally handed fragile items to me at the new house, and did a great job disassembling and re-assembling sofa cum beds in no time. Another good thing was that they were able to fit all of our stuff with belongings -- in the truck they had got which took up very less extra time for which they never accounted us. more

I needed help unloading, up three flights and moving a large and awkward sofa. These guys were great - quick, no complaints and really helpful. They had to hoist a few pieces up the outside of the building which they had no problem doing really quickly. I've never used anyone else but I would recommend them whole heartedly. more

Ami and his crew made my moving job, which could have easily been a nightmare, a complete breeze. They picked up a 600 pound vintage stove, drove to my new place, unloaded and lugged the son of a bitch up 8 terrazzo steps and got it into my kitchen. They were communicative, faxed me a contract like they said they would, showed up ON TIME!!! and were completely flexible throughout the entire ordeal, and, believe me, parts of it were an ordeal. I would totally recommend them for a larger job--in fact I am going to recommend them to friends who will need to hire movers. Price was fair. Ami's pre-move analysis was thoughtful and realistic. Five stars all the way, and these are the only movers I would give a five-star rating to. more

mission impossible...one day to move...one day to vacate...nine hours to complete...ami giving assurance of on-time arrival and start....8:20 am and truck arriving on time as promised...two ami?s men ....the mission?...transport large quantity of furniture from the fourth floor through an elevator and stairs to my new location...dilemma being time...quick to work..packing elevator and down...loading truck....little over an hour and completed....an hour drive down....unload in an hour...with time to move heavier objects to desired spots....the cost?...$four-hundred-twenty....with appreciation handing $eighty tip for the two...$five-hundred total..new home..new area....back to finish cleaning and turning in the keys before the day end....that?s isaac?s moving. Isaac's Moving & Storage did a fantastic job with our move. They were very fast, but also very careful and courteous. Even though they were not billing us by the piece, they were still meticulous in wrapping the furniture in blankets and plastic wrap to prevent damage, and in using tie-down straps in the truck to secure everything for the drive to our new home. They didn't complain despite our move involving three stories on both ends, and they did a great job negotiating large bedroom furniture up a very tight staircase with multiple turns with no damage whatsoever to the furniture. They were prompt (in fact, they arrived earlier than their scheduled time) and they accommodated our last-minute request to move a week earlier than we originally scheduled. more

We just moved again after 2 years, we thought of using Isaac Moving and Storage for our moving . This time we had a much smaller distance, we went about 2 miles down the road with everything we owned. We had a 4 bedroom house, 2 kids , wife and all the worldly stuff and I will be honest, I was really suspicious when I read all these positive reviews on the net. I was thinking, is this company really good? On the day of the move without even wasting a single time they headed off to the schedule. They actually drilled screws in the all the legs that were lose in multiple pieces of furniture, and its better than new now . They were so careful, more than I would have ever been when moving my stuff, it was really amazing. They are highly efficient, never once did I feel like they were milking the clock. more

First of all, I have had nothing but bad experience with most moving companies and also have heard nothing but bad stories about these companies. However, I had no choice but to hire movers since my last move since Nov so I went onto the net and found Isaac with my gut feeling I called up the number and from the beginning these guys were just amazing. They were extremely thorough from the consultation all the way to the follow up call the day after our move. Although I didn't hire this moving company, i did just come home to find one of their trucks blocking my driveway with some of their debris on my lawn. They were very rude when I asked them to move and it took 3 requests before they finally did. For the sake of your future neighbors, don't hire them. more

I, very rarely, reach out to these venues to post negative feed back. As someone in the service field - I understand the importance of raving about and seeking good service. I was so very disappointed with my recent move through Isaacs and I took personal offense to the lack of follow up and effort to make it ""right"". Don't get me wrong - the movers themselves were wonderful. However, 3 VERY important things: Time, Price and follow up were so disappointing. First off, this was my second time using this company. I am in the property management field and highly recommended them for over a year after my first move with them. They worked very hard to keep a good relationship with the community I was running. And I heard it all ""service! service! service!"" from them so often. When I was transferred cross country with my company I sought out 4 companies to bid out my move which was at my own expense. Isaacs was close - but still more expensive then the other 3 bids... I choose to use them because I felt I had built enough trust with the company and they were SO thorough with their bid process that I figured their price would hold up through the move. I was also assured that my things would arrive at a particular date/time and I even paid a premium to ""guarantee"" the spot. The only thing that would have delayed it (according to the sales man) was ""extreme weather"" which I assure you there was none. In the end: 1. The truck didn't show up when we discussed and was days behind our schedule 2. The bid was about $1500 off!! 3. They only help packing with 3 boxes... and these boxes held the only items that were found broken. 4. It took us repeat calls to get any feedback/updates/call backs 5. There was no follow up once they knew how unhappy we were with the out come. 6. There was no refund offered - not even the extra amount I paid to have our items ""rushed"" 7. The car company that THEY recommended took 3 weeks longer to deliver our cars then stated. (Again, I am big with recommendations... if you're going to recommend a company - make sure they are good. I trusted Isaacs to point me in the right direction and they did not) Over all, I am so extremely disappointed in the service and personally insulted that after I sent them business and PERSONALLY recommended them... that my dissatisfaction seemed to mean nothing to them. I would never use them again and I would never recommend them again. more

Isaacs helped me through what I thought was going to be the most difficult move ever, relatively easy. I needed to move some things to storage, some items to my daughters home in philly and only a few pieces to my son in North Carolina. From the first meeting i felt comfortable with the way everyone at Isaaacs was dealing with me and my situation. Although their price was more than the other company I had spoken with, I felt comfortable that it would be teh right decision to move with a moving company that seemed to really know what they were doing. I have moved 14 times in my life and i know what to look for when choosing a company. \r \r The crew that came to pick me up on the first day was the best and they were patient with my wife and I as we changed our minds several times when trying to decide what to take what to get rid of. I never felt like I was under pressure and Manny, the foreman, had a very nice way about him. He told me to take my time and that it wasnt unusual for people to have trouble deciding what to take. Finally we got everything loaded on the two trucks...everything was done with such care that i knew we were in good shape. \r \r Everything was clearly marked so that it would be clear as to what was going to storage and what was being sent to my two children. When everything was delivered I got a call from my kids antd they told me how nice the guys were that delivered the furniture to them. 1st of all the sales man said it was about 5200 lbs he was off by 7000 lbs then he said it would be there on the 2ndwhich was done by a hand shake , i should have known now a day handshakes do not mean anything! our stuff was not brought on that day, i was told that conversation with salesmen never happened hmmm funny!. it got there on the tenth and i did not get my weight till 4 days after they had my stuff after many calls to them and no phone calls back! And no one can tell me why! but after talking to the vice pres he did give me 10 percent off my bill witch was doubled from my quote i really wish they were up front with me cause their prices are not bad i do have broken stuff and i,am waiting for the ins to call me so we will see how this part of the ordeal is handled. Issac's staff was on time, friendly, well trained, efficient and pleasure to deal with. The estimated time was longer than I was quoted however the weather was awful so it was understandable. The movers still worked at a quick pace despite the weather and were extremely careful about my belongings. Worth every penny! Pros: On time, friendly, efficient, well trained. Cons: A few hundred dollars more than quoted, asked for directions to my new place. more

Isaac's is a great moving company. I recieved a great qoute from them and they stuck to their qoute when the job was done. Plus the staff was very friendly and repectful. I'll use this company again if I move. They are super. Pros: friendly staff more
