Good: The quality of the shoes is very high, but the real draw of the store is the excellent service. They can custom-fit you for insoles. The staff was friendly, patient, and completely knowledgeable-- the management makes sure they have studied up on foot issues and the shoes they sell. Our salesperson was patient, friendly, and explained everything about shoe fit and foot issues. They have great brands like New Balance, SAS, Munro, Keens, etc.-- which are all high quality comfortable shoes. Bad: The prices are generally retail price for the shoes that they sell, which are high quality shoes. However, I feel that the service and the long-term benefit of having shoes that fit are worth it.. Other: For people with foot issues, they have a computerized system that assesses the pressure points in your feet so that they can properly fit you for insoles. I have rarely experienced such patient, helpful, and knowledgeable retail staff. Especially if you're on your feet a lot-- this store is worth a visit!. more

Irving's is great for hard to find shoes and hard to fit feet!! My little boy has a wide foot and they are one of the few places that has high quality shoes that fit him well. They are a little more expensive, but the quality and selection make up for it! more

Irving’s Shoe Fly is a really nice shoe store. The have all the top brand shoes, like New Balance and Birkenstock. The prices are high, but for the brand shoes you are buying you would expect that. They have a great selection of sandals as well as running shoes, hiking shoes, and every day shoes. The store is spacious and the help is plentiful. They run coupons for $10 off occasionally which helps with the high prices. more
