I love the fish and chips, scotch eggs, and their bread is awsome (especially the sour dough). I also love their sausage sandwich. Fresh Guiness on tap doesn't hurt either, as well as a lot of good local beers. I highly recommend. more

A wonderful, all year round restaurant in cuisine and asthetics 3/10/2007

The scene is romantic with large french doors opening to a quint patio. The inside is small, but bright in the decor with old black and white family portraits and large rustic wood paneling. A sister restraunt of the original on Frankfort Ave owned by the same folks. For those looking for a great meal that is priced very fair, check out the Irish Rover II next to the tracks on the square in LaGrange! Two HUGE thumbs up! Rated: Awesome!   • Operational for more than 10 years, The Irish Rover Restaurant is a dining facility that specializes in a variety of menu options. It serves garlic mushrooms, smoked salmon, crab cakes, soups, salads, fish and chips, sandwiches, stuffed pork and sausage. The restaurant also offers a children s menu that includes grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken fingers and burgers. The Irish Rover Restaurant s dessert menu features pudding and cakes. In addition, it provides soda, juices, coffee, iced tea and milk. The restaurant also offers a range of beers, as well as red and white wines, including pinot grigio, gew rztraminer, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, zinfandel, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It hosts rehearsal dinners, surprise parties, anniversaries and office gatherings. The Irish Rover Restaurant maintains a location in Louisville, Ky.
