Way too crowded. If you don't show up 15-20 min before class starts you won't get a spot and you lose what you paid for the class. Their website makes you think that they limit the number of students in the class to what fits in the room but they don't. They just keep shoving people in until you are hitting each other. It was really nice when I was going to the classes no one else wanted to be at. more

Doesn't get much better 12/6/2010

I have been going to Invoke since it first opened. I have before and since sampled many yoga studios and always find my way back to Indy's voted best studio. \r \r Logistically, the location is great being right downtown, the parking has never been a problem because there is plenty of street spaces if the lot is full, and the studio space is small enough to provide a more personal feeling. \r \r The classes are often full which provides a great feeling of community, the teachers all bring an individual touch, so every class is just unique enough to keep me from getting bored. The classes are primarily taught in a more flowing/power sequence which leaves me feeling rejuvenated but yet worked out.\r \r Also, because the studio does not represent any particular type of following, I would (and do) recommend Invoke to anyone interested in yoga or pilates. What a great addition to our downtown community. =]\r \r more

Nice but too crowded 7/2/2010

The location is good, nice space and good instructors. Both yoga and pilates classes are always very crowded. I have been to both and sometimes you can't even do the stretches. They never limit the number of people like other places. In some classes you feel like you have people practically on top of you. I have been hit with a pilates bar, kicked in yoga, and even had the instructor once say she was happy to have so many people but it was just a few to many. Pros: nice people and facility Cons: classes are very crowded more

The best Pilates studio!!! 6/19/2008

I LOVE Invoke. I was given a gift certificate as a gift and sheepishly went to my first class. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, not at all stuffy. You can be guaranteed an excellent work out at each session; after 6 months of attending classes, my body is continually challenged! A great deal for the money and the instructors keep class fresh and interesting. I especially enjoy Stephanie's class at 10 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Go, you won't regret it! Pros: Friendly instructors, challenging classes, good value more

Got this former Pro Cheerleader sweating 9/6/2006

best pilates I have been to, even got my husband hooked. Mid day calsses are the best. Less crowded, one on one position adjudtment. Thanks for my pre baby body back Pros: Great facilities, well trained staff Cons: More mid morning and mid afternoon classes for the mommies more

Exactly what I was looking for! 3/13/2006

I needed a good way to blow off some steam and at the same time do something good for my body so I tried out Invoke. I had not done yoga before so I was a little intimidated but realized that between the repition of poses and a little personal attention from Chuck, the very patient-very amazing yoga instructor, that I could keep up. The yoga is awesome, there are tons of cool young people in the classes and the instructors are top-rate. more

Om, Om Good! 2/28/2006

:) I was wanting to get sleek for my wedding, once I shared my goals with the owner (where does the owner actually speak to you anymore), help me put together a plan. Starting basic, but eventually getting me to good health. As an added side benefit, it helps relieve stress! They have classes at all levels and times- no more excuses. It's also cost effective. Pros: Free parking downtown, Great instructors, cost effective Cons: hard floors for yoga more

Excellent!!! 1/30/2006

I moved back from San francisco hoping to remain faithful to my yoga routine. I found it to be difficult to find quality teachers and classes in Indy until I took a Vinyasa class at Invoke. The atmosphere is modern and serene. The staff is professional and attentive. The instructors are knowledgable and challenging. The studio is everything I have been missing since I left cali. If you are looking to try yoga for the first time, or have been practicing for years, you will find the classes and teachers at Invoke. Two thumbs way up!!! Pros: Atmosphere, Teachers, Classes more

WONDERFUL! 7/4/2005

Finally, I've found a Yoga/Pilates studio in Indy that gives me a workout (and doesn't forget the fundamentals of Yoga). The instructors were very helpful and gave great classes. Most importantly, I loved the atmosphere. I'd recommend it to anyone. more

An amazing place 7/1/2005

This is an awesome yoga studio. The facility is gorgeous and functional. There is a class for every mood--in the creative mood--try Amy, in the mind altering vigorous mood--Gina, or peaceful yet challenging mood--Rachel. The real sleeper is private or duet pilates refomer lessons with Whitney. Indy is fortunate to have such a top quality facility. The staff goes out of its way to make this a pleasurable yet personal experience. more

Wonderful! 6/27/2005

I'm still pretty new to yoga, having only started a few months ago. I recently took an open vinyasa class at Invoke Studio and absolutely loved it! I felt very comfortable and at ease with the teacher and absolutely loved the studio space. The yoga class was a wonderful mind and body work out, and I left feeling refreshed. The next week I tried a Pilate's reformer session and I was definitely feeling it the next day! All of my muscles felt toned and every part of my body had a great workout. I am definitely returning for more classes :) more
