Has Become a Barbie Doll Factory 6/28/2012

I have to agree with the first person. I began seeing Dr. J. several years ago for breakouts on my legs, arms, & back that are weepy & itch terribly. To date, I do not know what it is, or really what causes it since I use hypoallergenic everything. But I have had to go in several times over the years, sometimes with followup appointments in order to see improvement. I saw Dr. Marks on 2/1/12 for yet another flare up of weepy rash over most of my body ~ got the ointment & prednisone. It never went away & had started flaring up again, so I called today, 6/27/12 to make an appointment, & I was told that the first opening was in August. To clarify, I said "you mean I am supposed to wait until August for a MEDICAL condition." I was told yes, they were very busy. I do not know why I am shocked; I never really received proper medical care anyway. But the entire practice has really become a Barbie doll factory for injections, fillers, and laser treatments with blue light specials and Botox lun more

I've been Dr. Jacobson's patient she opened her practice in Inverness. She was once a caring and thorough doctor. Now she rushes through appointments, spends as little time as possible on the treatment/surgery, and only focuses on selling their products. She no longer cares about her patients, just the money to be made from them. more

Wish We Saw Her First! 4/17/2012

We Came to see dr Jacobson for treatment of my daughters molluscum that had spread all over her body and was a huge problem with itching and she was very self conscious even at six years old because everyone noticed her bumps. I had taken her to a dermatologist close to my home who painted the spots and after 5 treatment sessions and hundreds of dOllars they were no better. I told him that I was upset and he just shrugged his shoulders and said " its a virus" and walked out. Dr Jacobson came in and said that we would never clear up the mollyscum until we got her eczema better and had us do a special regimen for 2 weeks before treating the bumps. Well I will tell you her molluscum stopped spreading and completely went away after 2 treatments. I wish I had seen her first because my daughter suffered unnecessarily for MONTHS. Dr Jacobson is the best and worth the long drive and long wait for an appointment. more

Best derm in town 1/31/2012

The doctors and the staff helped to get me in for an appointment for a mole that I was very worried about. They helped to make sure that everything was fine and explained what I needed to be looking for when it comes to moles. I will recommend them to whoever asks! more

Efficient office 1/31/2012

Dr. Marks did an awesome job with helping me figure out what was going on with my scalp. I have been to doctors for years and no one could tell me what was going on. Dr. Marks immediately did a biopsy and had my results back in no time. The staff is very efficent and very helpful. I would reccomend this office to anyone! more

Friendly Office 1/30/2012

Dr. Marks is very thorough and helpful. I came in with a scalp issue that I had seen tons of other doctors for. She immediately biopsied my scalp and my results back in no time. I am so relieved to finally have figured out that I have Psoriasis and I now know how to treat it. I love this office and the awesome staff. Pros: null Cons: null more

Great Doctors and Staff!! 1/25/2012

I love Inverness Dermatology! I have seen them for many issues, including 2 surgerys! I have seen both Dr. Jacobson as well as Dr. Marks and they are both fantastic doctors who treat you with the upmost respect! They know that they doing at Inverness Dermatology! I would NEVER go anywhere else! I have recommened them to many a family and friends! more

Happy Doctor, Loves Her Job! 6/14/2011

I am so happy that I found Dr. Jacobson! She has done Sculptra, Botox and Radiesse on me and I couldn't be more pleased. Prices were very competitive (Lowest of all places I checked that were REPUTABLE) and she is a sweet lady with an excellent bedside manner and even more impressive skill. I have also taken my son to her for his eczema and she took great care of him. She told me that she liked doing cosmetic stuff but LOVED the medical more. I am really impressed with this practice and this doctor. more

This office offers FREE SCREENINGS (mine done by the physician assistant that was extrememly good). This is such a service to those of us that have an extremely high deductible. Thank you for that service. more

Over the MOON! 2/1/2011

I went to Dr. Jacobson for treatment of my psoriasis that has been on my knees and elbows for more than 20 years. She cleared it in one visit and I am over the moon! I went back for something fun (Botox and Lip Filler) and again she was amazing. It really looks natural and beautiful. The price was very good. I paid $225 for Botox and $450 for Lip Filler. I shopped around and this was extremely competitive pricing. more

This is the doctor my oncologist sent me to and let me say she is a CARING and COMPETENT doctor that helped me through a very uncomfortable problem. She was warm and kind but most importantly, made my rash better in a matter of days. more
