My family has been going to Dr. Andy for over 5 years now. We have moved further away from the office, but continue to make the drive because he is wonderful with our pets and we completely trust the office! Thanks to Dr Andy and the wonderful staff at Interlachen Animal Hospital :) more

I bought boarding service on groupon. When I called to schedule my drop off appointment, I was told that there would be a pet exam required, since I wasn't a customer. When I asked where that was stated in my groupon, she recanted, saying that since I had a groupon, I didn't have to have my dog examined. When I dropped him off a week later, I was told that since he was staying through the holiday (New Year's), I was required to purchase a $21 bath. I have never heard of this before...just because he is staying during a holiday, he would need a bath? I didn't argue too much with it, because he needed a bath anyway, and with my busy schedule that week I hadn't had the time to give him one, or take him somewhere to get it done before leaving town. I payed for the service, and asked what else was included with the bath (normally it's nails, foot pads, sanitary trim), and she said just a bath. I left slightly annoyed, because for that price I could have gotten much more for my dollar elsewhere. Upon pickup, my dog was brought out, and he looked the exact same as I had left him-- fur slightly dingy and pieced together, no bathed scent. My dog has maltese fur, which happens to get very fluffy and white when he is bathed-- it clearly wasn't done. But they insisted that he did receive a bath on the day of pickup, and offered nothing in return to address my dissatisfaction. It's quite obvious that they were trying to get back as much money as possible to make up for the discounted groupon price, and possibly since I was just boarding, and not a vet customer. But that's not the way to gain long-term customers out of a groupon deal, and because of my experience, I will never take my dog there again. more

Dr. Andy and his staff are some of my favorite people! Since moving from Oregon several years ago, Dr. Andy has been taking care of my 13 yr old Poodle. Dr. Andy is sensitive to cost. For example, his method of cleaning teeth has enabled us to have my dog's teeth cleaned every six months because he does not use general anesthetic. Where I came from, this was method was not an option, so my husband and I feel very grateful to Dr. Andy and his expert skills. We have recommended Dr. Andy to others with complete confidence and will continue to do so. more

I highly recommend Dr. Andy and his staff. They are caring professionals who know how to care for animals. My dog and cats have received great care from Dr. Andy for 9 years for the dog and 5 years for the cats. Great vet!! more

I would not recommend this Vet, Dr. Andy. He overdosed our dog with Valium, she died four hours after coming home and he didn't even have the courtesy to talk to us about it. more

I met Dr Andy just yesterday when I brought my 2 new puppies in for a check up. From the receptionist Melissa, to Daryl the vet tech and to Dr Andy himself, we were all treated like family. My pups were given a careful examination, they were treated with kindness and care. Dr Andy went over his findings in great detail, developed a health plan for both dogs according to their needs, and I was given several options for their care. I truly felt like we all mattered, and that meant a great deal to me.I will most definitely keep Dr Andy as my pets vet. more

I've only lived in Florida for a short time, but I felt like I had been a customer here for years when I visited with my dog, Scrooge. Everyone was polite, and all of my questions were answered. Dr. Andy spent a lot of time with me and Scrooge, and there have been no problems with my dogs skin since. I would definitely reccomend. more

Dr. Andy is the best! He's one of the best vets I've seen in years! My ten year old pomeranian was having some problems, so we took her to see Dr. Andy a year ago, and since then he's followed up almost religiously. Lilly hasn't had any problems since! It was almost like magic. I still see Dr. Andy at least once a month, and I wouldn't see any other vet. I'm very impressed! more

Nothing to complain about. Fast service, good prices, very good doctor. I'm confident he did everything he could for my cat. Reggie's seen better days but I think he'll be seeing a few more good ones after visiting the animal hospital here. My cat is a sixteen year old persian with breathing problems, and Dr. Andy was able to give him more time. I don't think I'll have to let him go anytime soon. more

Doctor Andy is a very considerate doctor, and took the time to explain to me why my cat was biting so much. It was a nightmare! My cat since has been vaccinated, and is a regular visitor to this animal hospital. The service is unbeatable, never any lines, long waits, or anything. My cat doesn't run away, he goes to the vet without a problem! Interlachen Animal Hospital would definitely be my first stop in Orlando if anything were to happen to my pets! more

Doctor Andy made sure to take care of my kitten last week. He took his time and explained everything. I brought my 4 month old kitten to the vet for the first time. This is the first pet I have ever owned. Doctor Andy took the time to show me how to properly care for my new pet and which medication for fleas was best. I have never met a medical professional who would spend an hour or two in the exam room just going over basic things. It was very comforting to know that Doctor Andy treated me more as a friend the just another dollar sign. What a wonderful experience, please give him a shot!!! more

Dr. Andy and the staff of Interlachen Animal Hospital offered a Dental Special during the time when I was boarding my little dog, Max. It was very convenient and the price was affordable ($98). more

FIrst, I second that motion of BKEaton's review (any relation to Lord Byron Keats or Yeats is it?) I must admit, I ORGINALLY was hesitant to go there, based on ONE review of a man in 2010, but due to friends whom had gone there and my pastor also brings his kitties to see Dr. Andy, so I said, well, ONE review...out of many. So I said' what the heck"" he isn't that hard to find and it made me feel safe and secure when one see's where it is located. My experience was nothing BUT professional. HOwever, there is a quality about Dr. ANdy, that no Veterinary School or ANY school can teach, but I felt it with him every time and I see it in his mannerisms and voice (as well as a fountain of knowledge) but it was that warm tender feeling which enables one to feel at ease and that his motives as a vEterinarian are ONE: to help, to save, to cure, to console to provide one with hope, I dint' get the feel he was in it fro the money, AND BELIEVE ME...to prove that to ME, is tough. There is a Je Na C'est Quoi about him (I think that is mispelled oops) ANYONE can spew out blood results, and collect checks or cc or cash, and send you on ur way but he didtn't. As a matter of fact, I thought I would play Vet and do my own research (out smart the DOC), well, i tried to tell HIM what I wanted him to do in the way of tests and I believed I knew more than he, HOWEVER, he reiterated several times ""you do not need to have these tests, there is no sense in spending money for tests you don't need"" I swallowed my pride, but later, I thought WOW if more businesses and Drs. could be so honest and sincere as He is and was..TRUST me those tests I INSISTED Sam (our dog) needed would be VERY costly, but I am so grateful I took DR, ANDY;S ADVICE AND NOT THE COMPUTER'S (( I see now why he as a PHD and I don't ha ha ha) LOng winded, but I normally do't do reviews, only 24 hrs in a day, BUT WHEN I had my experience and KNEW originally I would allow ONE (rather funny actually) bad review determine facts for me, I HAD to see for myself, and honestly that isREALLY HILARIOUS and doesn't fit the profile I conjured up after my experience Dr. Andy, about the dog being drunk and doped up on Valiums, I guess looking back NONE of what that clients perception of reality is based in logic. My experiment proved successful: Dr. Andy is the man. HE IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD VET, because he makes you feel like a welcoming warm concerned neighbour. NOPE, NO ONE ELSE FOR ME BUT HIM. (I got superior quality at considerably lower rates) That one place at petsmart banfield I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN UGH WHAT RIP OFFS. :) more

I am extremely satisfied in the services provided by Dr. Andy Michaud and the staff at Interlachen Animal Hospital. The vet was very thorough and took his time to examine my pets and actually cared that I was completely satisfied. My dog needed some Dental care, but since it was Saturday, Dr. Andy suggested we perform the work on a weekday so that he would have plenty of time instead of trying to rush. Saturday hours are just half days. I am very pleased and I will return and recommend to all my friends. more

Dr. Andy gave my dogs too much Valium and it wouldn't wake up for two days. Then when I called his emergency hot-line, it went to him but he disguised his voice. He wouldn't answer my questions or address my concerns so that I would go in and play 130 dollars to have him say my dogs just drunk. more

I took my Cocker Spaniel here today for a dental cleaning. They were offering a special this month. I was concerned about the age of my dog and the risk. The staff was very understanding explained the procedure to me. Long story short I have a happy dog with clean teeth. They did an awesome job and were very friendly and professional. The facility was clean and the staff very pleasant. I will be back. Pros: nice staff. clean facility. good job. fair price more
