Interior Door & Closet Company performed a great makeover on my doors and closets this week. I was impressed with the service from my very first call. The front office staff was nice and helpful and schedule someone to meet me the same day. The desinger and estimator Jane was great and helped me pick the best style to match our home's decor. The company made the process easy and kept me well informed at each steps. The installation crew was careful with our new hardwood floors and created no mess. I only had to take off half a day for installation. I had anticipated the installation to be much longer. Our new doors and closets operate perfectly and look incredible. We like the beveled mirrored wood framed closet doors the best. What a difference, I should have done this years ago. Several of my girlfriend have a ready stopped by and left in envy. My husband and I are very happy with our purchase and would recommend them to anyone wanting a simple home upgrade. If zero stars were an option, I would have selected that. My wife and I are putting in new closets. We researched several companies and decided to give the local outfit (aka Interior Door Company, Casablanca Closets) a chance. \r \r They came out and spent almost two hours examining our closet and coming up with design options. They refused to give us a quote because both my spouse and I weren't present. A VERY high pressure approach that the initial quote would be good for one day only since it would be so very much cheaper than the competition. Over the next week we left several messages with them requesting a quote. They never called us back. My wife finally went back to the store where they finally gave us a quote that was on par with the one we had gotten from California Closets.\r \r Bottom line - horrible customer service, high pressure sales approach. My old closet openings were small and had small cabinet doors above them that we mostly unusable, not to mention how dated they looked. Interior Door & Closet Company came up with a plan to totally reconfigure my closets from floor to ceiling which allowed me to double hang my clothing and have floor to ceiling doors. The new closets were just installed today. The new closets now hold twice as much clothing and the custom wood closet doors look and slide fantastic! We purchased interior doors from a Home Improvement Store because they told me they were easy to install. After attempting to install the first door we realized that none of our door frames are standard sizes. I called several companies and contractors for help, but everyone wanted to tear out my doors frames which would damage my new hardwood floor. We then found a handyman service which stated by phone that they could install them. The handyman service was going to charge me labor only of $200 per door, but upon inspecting my odd size door frames they declined to take the job. The Handyman Service Estimator stated that my door frames were too difficult for them to attempt and that we needed a digital measuring and fitting service. They then referred me to Interior Door & Closet Company. I found Interior Door & Closet Company in strange method but now we have fantastic doors. IDCC digitally cut the doors to fit our 40 yr. old home without any damage to the floor or frames. As an added bonus we saved about 40% compared to all the quotes I received during the frustrating process. We are very pleased with our new doors. I hope our experience can help others. more

The crew installed 18 doors and 5 closet organizers in one day. None of the other projects went this smoothly. We made the mistake of ordering doors through the Home Depot. We found out the hard way that The Home Depot uses subcontractors for all the work they sell. The sub they sent to install the doors left large gaps in most of the doors and several were hung the wrong direction. They tried to patch the frames to cover up the mistakes. I don't believe they have ever done doors before. I ended up throwing away all 11 doors and got some of my money back. I then had Inteiror Door & Closet Company come out to see if they could fit and install all new doors. Their digital measuring and cutting is the best process around. Our new doors look, fit, and operate perfect. Interior Door was 5X faster and performed the installation flawlessly. What a difference. The doors were prepainted at their facility so we didn't have to hire a separate painter or paint them ourselves. The cost of each door was $129 which included installation. My contractor quoted us nearly $300 per door without paint or hardware, so we saved over $1,500 on twelve doors and the paint quality is flawless. I found this company online after reading numerous good reviews before I visited their showroom in Torrance. I hired them to replace all my interior doors and sliding closet doors. My contractor's estimate was lower than the home improvement stores but Interior Door & Closet Company was more than 40% lower than my contractor. The company will even paint the doors beautifully, in fact, no other company even offered paint services. I hired the right company and am very pleased. They didn't miss any details and did exactly what I expected. The installation was only 4-5 hours because all the cutting and painting was done at their factory in Torrance.
