I'm disappointed to report a negative experience as there are so many team members with Integrative Physical Medicine which go above and beyond. I truly saw physical improvement after a few visits however I'm astounded by the lack of professionalism consistently demonstrated by Marcia with the clinic on Colonial. Tonight I left without consideration of returning - Her negative disposition and tone should not have her only disassociated from this Orlando Chiropractor practice but out of the medical industry altogether. She seems miserable as a person which unfortunately, feeds into her profession.
Personality aside with Marcia, she failed to review my chart before attempting lumbar injections which made me question treatment altogether. For someone with a delicate role in the practice, I would have liked her to have a better knowledge of my symptoms, history and not become defensive when I tell her that my back wasn't hurting today. For the injections portion of this practice, it seems like a cattle call as the last time I was in Marcia's office, she verbally was exasperated the PA forgot to bring my chart to her so she responds with "well how do I know what I'm suppose to be injecting?". I understand being frustrated however don't display this frustration to a consumer or patient.
Finding a new Orlando chiropractor is not going to be a challenge however I'm disappointed for someone to work in this office and not be a positive force for patients. I've informed the doctor who referred me so he's aware of this behavior. Best advice to the Integrative: terminate Marcia to free her on finding what truly makes her happy. Best advice to potential patients - there are too many Orlando chiropractors to not be 100% pleased. If you do work with Integrative, you'll enjoy the PT (they're great - Justin & Sarah) and you'll enjoy working with the staff Shelby, Victoria, Sasha and Gianna. Steer clear of the injections until someone is capable of smiling with that syringe.
