I was referred to Malaika Sharp at Integrated Movement/Massage by a friend. I have had massages before from time to time as a treat. They helped me to relax, but that was short-lived. While I am sure Malaika does excellent relaxation massages, I was looking for one which incorporated relaxation and therapy. Boy, does she deliver! Malaika is extremely thorough by asking you questions to ensure the pressure is suffice, any health issues you may have, work movements, etc. I had never felt better after just my second massage! I booked three more right away with her. I always look forward to the next one! Malaika has many types of massage techniques which she incorporates into each session. She always takes great care to ensure you are comfortable and that you maintain your privacy. In addition, her rates are very reasonable and she is flexible in her hours. Because I had minor surgery on my back and I move around a lot, I've had massages all over this country and outside this country. From NY to San Fransisco, Texas to Montreal, I have never found a better massage therapist than at Integrated Movement here in Hartford. Malaika at Integrated Movement is a wonderful, talented massage therapist and I always look forward to my next massage. She has an unusually keen sense of the body's interconnected systems and is very thoughtful and attentive. I haven't had a million massages before or anything, but the last massage therapist I had does not compare to this one! Even before my massage began, I noticed that the surroundings were quite tranquil. Not bland, but really serene and comforting. Then, during my massage, all I could say in my mind was, "Ahhhhh, ahhhhhh" as the stress of my life was coaxed out of each muscle, even in my head! My therapist was courteous and gave me options I didn't know I had when receiving a massage. Would I go back again? Definately! When? Not soon enough!! more

Pros: Ample parking in the back of building.Beautifull decor,in side. Cons: Unexpected place for a building full of health proffesionals.Next door neighbors,should availuate the circumstant of what the driveway is used for. more
