My wife and I have been looking at homes for a while. Our friends have also been looking and they got an accepted offer a few days before we did. We had a home inspection by Inspectamerica. We wanted to get an inspection company that was thorough and well experienced and could give us good guidance. We wanted a referral from a reliable source so we asked our attorney who would be representing us in the purchase for a referral. I never thought that a home inspection would be so thorough and comprehensive. Since this is our first home we were very nervous but the inspector was very reassuring and took considerable time to answer all of our questions. The inspector found a number of issues that we were not aware of and we were pleased that he was able to advise us how to address the issues. I called the office of Inspectamerica to compliment the inspector and thank them for their professional service. I have purchased three homes over the past 25 years and have a real good idea of what to expect from home inspectors. Over a year ago I had a home inspected by Inspectamerica Engineering and based upon my experience with home inspectors I knew I should live in the house for a year before making any comments about the quality of the inspection. I can tell you that the inspection was more than thorough and the written report was more than comprehensive. More importantly, after a year I can report that the inspection report was not only comprehensive, but was totally accurate. I had Ed Franks as the inspector, he was not only knowledgeable but he was also patient taking the time to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Inspectamerica and hopefully the other inspectors in this company are as good as our inspector. more

We highly reccommend Inspect America. Ed Frank inspected our home we just purchased. He was extremely thorough and found things that we never would have known about and saved us a lot of money. He came highly recommended from two different people and we could not say better things about Ed. He is so knowledgable and patient, he went through the house with us and was happy to answer any questions. His report was comprehensive, organized and he emailed it to us the next day making our negotiations on the house which were time sensitive much less stressful. I put Ed high on my list, he really knows everything about a house and the money he ended up saving us was invaluable. more

Awful and Sloppy.\r An inspector E.M. Frank from Inspectamerica Engineering, P.C. inspected a home that we bought 8 months ago. He missed a very visible mold problem and is now refusing to refund the $1000 we paid him for what was, in my opinion, a very sloppy inspection, which has caused us to breathe in mold for the past 8 months (while being pregnant) and must now expend at least $5000 for mold remediation.
