Innovative Home Theaters

I have had Innovative Home Theaters (IHT) install several different systems in my house over the past few years, and everytime I am overwhelmed by the quality of their work. From the inital design and planning, all the way through the installation, they are the most professional and knowledgeable team I have ever worked with. I installed a home theater about 2 years ago, and it turned out wonderful (my friends constantly compliment the picture/sound as well as the beatiful room). The next year I had them install a full Home Control system that manages my Distributed Audio, Lighting Control, Thermostats, Security System, and Surveillance Cameras. The system has worked flawlessly, and truly makes our home easy to manage (especially the large amount of lights in the house). Then just 6 months ago, I had them install a very High-End 2-channel listening system that is simply amazing. It was really nice that they had these high-end systems on display in their (beautiful) showroom so that I could get a feel for 2-channel before deciding to make the purchase. \r \r After reading the last gentlemans comments, I wanted to specifically mention that their follow up service has been excellent. Anytime that I have needed them to come out, they have been very speedy with their return trips, and are always able to quickly resolve any issues, as well as provide a reason for the issue (which was usually my own fault). Their installers are incredibly friendly, and do a better job cleaning up than my own cleaning lady! \r \r I have recommended IHT to several of my close friends, and they have always treated them with the same high level of service. I have nothing bad to say about this company in terms of all the steps leading up to the installation of the theater room. However, I've had multiple instances over the 4 yrs since that installation in which they have not provided that same 5 star service when it comes time to stand behind their products. They are NOT customer service oriented to the degree that one would expect when spending as much $ on a theater room as some houses cost. Incredibly the quibbles I've had with them amount to a $200 electical box repair and a $100 service call on my universal remote in which they wouldn't stand behind their work. I say incredible because I've spent $100k with this company between my theater room and the video surveillance system. The people at Innovative Home Theaters were nice to me from the minute I walked in the door. Their beautiful showroom displays some very cool, and unique ideas. They also showed me some examples of their larger jobs, which were incredible. Custom Home Theaters more beautiful than I have ever seen! They even have two of them in their showroom! Unforunately (for me) I was only looking for a simple plasma tv, and surround sound system... but they treated me like I was their top priority!! A far cry from the past couple trips to Best Buy, or Circuit City, etc... The installation technicians were very knowledgable, and treated my home with respect. The installation turned out perfect! Highly Recommended! I will definitely call IHT for any future electronics that I buy. I believe my salesmans name was Todd, but everyone there was very nice.
