Dr. Chris Teichmiller and his staff at Innovative Eyecare are so welcoming and professional they make it a pleasure to visit. Dr. Teichmiller is very thorough in his eye exams and takes the time to provide his patient with a thorough explanation of his findings. He stays current in his field so that he can provide the latest procedures, products and equipment to improve the vision of his patients. He also has an extensive network of eye care professionals and is not hesitant to make a referral if he feels one would benefit his patient. The staff is also very competent and well trained to support Dr. Teichmiller in caring for his patients. I am very satisfied with the care I receive and feel very confident knowing that my vision is in such good hands at Innovative Eyecare. more

Growing up with Dyslexia, I learned many coping strategies. The two biggest accommodations I had in school were blue paper and blue overlays. For me, black on white causes a glare and makes my head hurt. However, I have learned to over look the pain of a headache and just push forward. Now I am a 3rd grade teacher and use my experiences to help others. Since getting the Chromagen lenses I have noticed a calming effect when my eyes get tired. They take the glare away and just make reading easier. more

I love new CRT lenses 4/11/2013

I love new CRT lenses. They are so easy to put in and take out. One thing that CRT helped me in is baseball. I use get dirt or dust in my contacts, but not any more! I love the feeling of no contact in the day. Also at night I can't feel the contact in my eyes. They have really made a difference. more

Dr. Chris introduced me to Gentle Molding 1/29/2013

During my eye exam, Dr. Chris introduced me to Gentle Molding. I decided to give it a try, tired of wearing glasses and contact lens the last 45 years.\r Now I don't reach for glasses first in the mornings. I see to read the newspaper, e-mail and text. Co workers ask where are my glasses.\r Gentle Molding lenses are comfortable to sleep in and easy to maintain.\r Now, I am free from the boredom of being dependent upon glasses or contact lenses during my daily routine. more

The CRT 1/25/2013

I love wearing CRT because I don't have to worry about glasses and contacts. I can evern put them in all by my self! It helps me out a lot because I do dance, swimming, gymnastics, and tennis. So, I know my glasses or contacts won't fall out. When I wore glasses before CRT it was annoying when raindrops fell on my glasses. It has never hurt putting CRT contacts in at night. I know it will keep my vision heatlhy. I will probably never stope wearing CRT. I love them! more

Gentle Molding 1/16/2013

I've been wearing the special lenses for about 2 weeks now. The first day, I could see without my contact. I was amazed. I thought it would take a couple of weeks to see any difference. The next couple of days my eyes seemed to reverse back to their original setting. Things were blurry again. I thought "Oh well, it was nice while it lasted". But I kept wearing the lenses at night. After all, they had worked the first day. Maybe they would again. And they DID!! Every day since, my vision has gotten better and better. The first few days, I could read clearly with only my reading glasses, then with weaker readers. So why couldn't I see my computer screen this morning? Because the readers were too STRONG!! I took them off and believe it or not, without contacts or glasses, the words in front of me were as clear as a bell. \r \r That's wonderful and I expected that Gentle Molding might help my good eye get stronger. I won Gas Grill 1/11/2013

I recently won a huge gas grill through a drawing for referring new patients to Innovative Eyecare! I was thrilled!:)\r Dr. Kimberly Ocampo is not only extremely talented and professional, but also a doctor with incredible bedside manner. She makes you feel like she truly cares about you as a patient and person. She takes the time to personally get to know you. We love Dr. Kimberly Ocampo and her staff at Innovative Eyecare. I love my CRTs! 1/3/2013

I came into Innovative Eyecare because my glasses would fall off everyday at dance. It was becoming a pain. My older borther already had CRTs so my mom and I decided I would get them too. That summer two years ago was when I got my contacts. They work great! Now I don't have to worry about my glasses falling off during dance class. And, I can swim carefree without having to remember to take off my glasses. more

Amazing Dedicated Staff and Doctor 12/28/2012

Having needed contacts and/or glasses since college, I had thought I would always have to wear them to enjoy clear vision in my daily life. During allergy season, wearing contact lenses was uncomfortable and having to wear glasses meant that I couldn?t wear sunglasses without having prescription lenses. On my first visit to Innovative Eyecare, Dr. Teichmiller recommended gradual corneal reshaping. I was excited to think that I now would have the freedom from glasses and could wear any sunglasses I wanted. The difference after only about 1 week of the corneal reshaping was enough to make me love the freedom of choice had given me! Lasik without the blade and searing 12/19/2012

As a photographer, my sight is essential to my livelihood. I had considered lasik for some time but hesitated due to the possiblity of a rare bad outcome to the surgery. When Dr. Teichmiller told me about Gentle Molding, it was a no-brainer! I could have the results of Lasik without the blade and searing. I have been wearing the GM lenses for nine months and am at near 20/20 in the right eye and only slightly behind in the left. My vision is near perfect. It is a thrill to look through the viewfinder and not knock my glasses against the eyepiece, or drive with windows down and not have contacts dry out. more

Amazing Doctor and Staff :) 12/10/2012

It is not uncommon to visit a business in which one person makes you feel like a valued customer, but to get that feeling from every member of the office is truly remarkable. From being greeted by the office manager who takes the time to personally welcome you when you walk in the door instead of making you sign in and sit unnoticed, to a very thorough and comprehensive eye exam by a courteous staff that makes you feel like you are their sole concern, my entire time at Innovative Eyecare was an experience that I look forward to continuing for many years to come. more
