Jack Tarry's using the infra red camera helped us identify possible problem areas in the house. We later on had a contractor look at it and give us some estimates also. It helped us renegotiate the price with the sellers. The photographs he took with his infra red camera came in very handy. His report was very elaborate and described each problem area in detail. I keep referring to it as I am getting work done in the house. One distinct advantage of using the infra red camera is that it helps you see through the walls. As Jack pointed out during the inspection, damp and damaged areas in the building were identifiable. The damage done to one of walls outside the living room, possibly by a woodpecker, looked so small from the outside, but with the infra red camera we saw the total extent of damage. We could also see how near all the doors and windows heat was leaking out. I am getting all those areas sealed. Jack took his time and meticulously went through the entire house and explaining to me as we proceeded. He than gave me a detailed report with all the pictures, they were very useful. It was a pleasure doing business with him. more

I am so honored to be working with Jack Tarry. He clearly stated his goals. It is obvious from speaking with Jack and viewing all his materials he is well versed in his career. I had thermal french doors put on my home as well as a thermal heat scan of the house. Everything was clearly explained and included hard copy documentation. I will always call Jack first for my needs. There was not a moment that Jack did not have the time to explaion any of my questions. This is a very talented family. His wife is my hair stylist. Now for both I would travel anywhwere. more

Infrared Thermal Imaging detected our leaks in minutes 1/21/2011

Last winter we finished our basement and were very happy to have the extra space. Of course, our previous leak free home, started to leak through our windows and various spots through out our brick right after the basement was complete. We noticed heat loss and were obviously trying to find the best possible leak detection solution to do as little demolition as possible. We called Infravision and Jack came out right away and was able to pin point where our problems originated from in no time at all. His equipment detected the leaks and gave us actual photographic proof to back up what he was telling us. Area's his camera showed heat loss and the home retaining water were exactly where we had problems showing up in the basement. He was able to fix the problem without having to rip out a bunch of drywall, saving us thousands if not tens of thousands. more

Helped us detect the water leak 1/20/2011

This past summer, I was at my wit's end trying to find out how water was leaking into our basement after it rained. Someone suggested using infrared thermal imaging to locate the leak. So one night after it rained, Jack and his team drove an hour to my house on a moment's notice to analzye my house before the rain evaporated. He was able to detect that the leak was coming in from the vinyl siding on the second floor and leaking all the way behind the wall to my basement. It would have taken weeks, if ever, to find that out myself. Plus having had building/contracting experience he was able to provide simple, cost-effective solutions for us to investgiate. We were pleased to have found a professional and fair person to help us solve our water leak! more

Milford's answer to cold air X-ray vision 1/19/2011

Thought it would be a good idea to have a professional come in and see if we could do anything to make our home more comfortable in the Winter. InfraVision's owner promptly came out and inspected every room, wall, and window with an infrared thermal imaging camera. We walked the house together and he showed me what the camera saw: leaky window moldings, door thresholds, and doorwall seams where cold air was just pouring in. He pointed out a section of very cold wall in the bedroom - later, I went up into the attic and discovered the insultation had been pulled away by a cable TV installer years earlier - was able to easily push the insulation back into place so it could do its job again. He gave me a simple list of materials and explained what to do to fix the quick hitters myself and address the heat loss. Worked out great! more
